Used Booking.com to reserve a room here for the weekendAdvertised room stated private balcony and listed amenities that were not present upon check inAlso there ended up being an extra $fee for a room key to be issuedThere was hardly any parking at the actual motelOnly spaces available were across the street in a lotThere was an extra charge for our child to be in the room with us, which was not advertisedEnded up being charged in excess of $for a room for days which was so small you could not move around in it, it smelled awful, the bathroom only had two towels and was not clean, window a/c unit and the room was so small both beds touched the walls with next to no space between them to move aroundUpon seeing the room I went back to the front desk and stated room was not what was advertised or pictured onlineThat I wanted to cancel the reservation as I refused to stay in a dirty, dank and exceptionally small roomWas told rooms pictured online were not used for clients booking through Booking.comI advised that was advertisingDemanded a refund of all monies and she refused to refund my moneyThe motel then advised Booking.com that we were a "NO SHOW" and I contacted them to cancel my reservation as well as they guarantee your money back and in both cases (Ocean Mecca Motel) and Booking.com refused to refund my moneyI have a Guest Check In receipt that shows we did check inSo Ocean Mecca lied to Booking.com and then recanted when they found out we had that receiptI have been fighting this since August with no resolutionWhy should I have to pay over $for a room I did not stay in, that was not what was advertised online?
