Response to *** *** complaint Revdex.com*** *** has been a very good customer of oursThe vehicle he purchased did need some additional repairs after taking delivery of the vehicle. We have apologized and attempted to make every transaction with Andrew and his vehicle to be as easy
and smooth as possible. We have always taken responsibility for all of the costs and fees associated with any repairs that have been made to this vehicle.We have run into some issues as far as getting items covered and dealings with outside warranty companies, however we have tried our best as to accommodate *** *** in every circumstance within our controlWe understand that the protocol in working with extended warranty companies can be frustrating but we are doing everything that we can to get the problem resolved and handled as quickly as possibleWe have been in communication with *** *** in regards to his Suzuki he purchased from our dealership and are keeping him informed every step of the wayPresently we are still waiting to hear back from the part manufacturer to get a replacement for defective parts and to get all repairs covered for himBy no means have we taken this situation lightly, we are doing everything within our power to return Andrew his vehicle in 100% working order to ensure his satisfaction.If there is any further action required on our behalf please let us know as soon as possible, again we are doing everything within our power to get this matter resolved. Thank you very much for getting back to me so quickly and resending that emailI was able to review *** ***'s complaint and attached is a copy of the warranty that he was provided with upon purchase of sale and he signed and agreed to*** *** also purchased an extended warranty from a
third party Warranty company through our dealershipThe first warranty provided ( attached file) you can read is a limited warranty which would cover the vehicle 50/meaning any repairs that the third party warranty would not cover *** *** would be responsible for half of the costs of those repairs and seven X Motors would then be responsible for the other half of the costs of the repairs ONLY if the repair work was done at seven X Motors( refer to first paragraph). The second warranty that was provided to *** *** that he purchased is a year 24K warranty with only a $deductible, provided to him from Wynn's Warranty company The two issues that *** *** did experience with his vehicle the starter and then the alternator Seven X Motors did promptly have the vehicle towed in and repaired both times without ever charging *** *** for the $deductible that he was responsible for or never charging him for the tow bill difference that he would then be responsible for since his extended warranty company will only cover a tow up to $50 and *** *** lives over an hour away from our dealership and the tow bill was significantly more than $50. We unequivocally had *** ***'s expressed permission to tow his vehicle and perform any and all work needed in order to get his vehicle back on the roadWe did so and all repairs were done in a professional And Timely matterSeven X Motors is undoubtably entitled for reimbursement for any labor, parts,Towing, or repairs performed at seven X Motors to *** ***'s vehicle either from *** *** himself or in this case a third party warranty companySeven X Motors did all repairs and got all necessary approvals from *** *** and the third party warranty company to perform all repairs necessary as well as having ** ***'s expressed consent for us to also Tow and repair his vehicle. Paragraph in attached file which *** *** read and signed ( The selling dealer seven X Motors is not responsible For any repairs made from a third party or outside repair facility and will not reimburse buyer for any such repairs.) It then goes on to explain a situation where there is a third party warranty in place and it reads as followed ( there may be an extended warranty purchased in addition with this limited warranty, in which case there must be prior authorization in writing before having any repairs done at any other location aside from the one fore mentioned ) *** *** clearly and admittingly never provided our dealership with any kind of written request for outside repairs prior to allowing his mechanic to do said repairs, And *** *** is now in direct breach of our warranty and seven X Motors reserves the right to now suspend any further warranty *** *** may have remaining with our dealership Seven X Motors followed all necessary procedures and has all necessary approvals for repairs performed to *** *** vehicle*** ***'s negligence and disregard to notify seven X Motors of any additional work that may have been required to his vehicle and allowing a third party repair facility to do said repairs without proper steps and procedures is the direct result of his complaintIf the proper steps had been taken by *** *** prior to allowing his mechanic to perform repairs to his vehicle we would have notified him of any warranties that may have been valid on the parts we had changedWe do apologize for *** ***'s situation however are not responsible or obligated to refund him any money at this time for repairs that were already performed*** *** is in no way entitled for monies that seven X Motors received from the Wynn's Warranty company for labor, parts, and towing and is unreasonable to assume he isWe have worked with *** *** every step of the way and take pride in delivering him a quality used vehicleIf there is anything further you need Zoe or have any other questions please feel free to contact us thank you. Tell us why here..Response to Revdex.com Complaint; *** ***;*** *** ***, purchased a Honda Passport from our dealership in the summer of The original agreement by and between *** *** and Seven X Motors was that in which *** *** would purchase said vehicle under the
condition that the vehicle's sun roof was in working order, that vehicles battery be replaced and of course it would have to be thoroughly gone over by his own mechanic *** *** of *** *** and be New York State InspectedThe delay *** *** makes in her first statement was not only to attest to the requested additional repairs (The glass for the sunroof needed to be purchased and outsourced by a glass professional) but Seven X Motors INC also went above and beyond those requests by ensuring the vehicles tires were checked, the oil was changed, ignition coils as well as brakes and rotors were replaced in addition to some exhaust work was performed When the vehicle was ready and we finally received payment from *** ***, he was thrilled! Not only did Seven X Motors INC take care of the original concerns but had done even more, only to ensure *** ***'s satisfaction with the vehicle and the company, it was all cleaned up and ready to go for him when he came that daySeven X Motors INC did promise to honor a Day or mile warranty which would cover 50% of parts and 50% of labor, with the exception of the vehicles transmission which was to be honored for days and covered 100%The first incident *** *** mentions when the vehicle broke down on route near exit 118; she fails to mention that Seven X Motors INC immediately responded, offered *** *** transportation back his home in Smallwood, repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience and pushed current cash repairs out of the busy repair facility in order to expedite and accommodate the vehicle immediately With no cost associatedWhen *** *** came to pick up his vehicle he had explained and expressed his concerns that he would be leaving for Germany and if there was a problem the following summer that his warranty would have expired (which was only valid for days) Seven X Motors INC assured *** *** the company's position on the warranty and expressed to him that the longevity and loyalty is what matters most and not what was written on a documentSeven X Motors Inc cares immensely about the customer and does everything to accommodate them no matter what the scenarioNow in July of a year after purchase, *** *** states that her husband noticed the fluid on the floor and attempted to drive the vehicle when the check engine light came onSeven X Motors INC does not know this to be fact but *** *** did call and express his concern about there being fluid on the floor of his garage where the Passport was kept over the winter Not only was this man disgruntled and unappreciative of the fact we were still willing to stand behind his purchase, but he demanded that Seven X Motors send a mechanic out to his home to fix the problem in his garageSeven X Motors INC does not make house calls and cannot repair vehicles outside of our facility for insurance and other purposesHOWEVER, with the busy summer schedule Seven X Motors INC did in fact make time, in another attempt to please and accommodate, sent two mechanics to *** ***s residence to inspect the issue at hand The vehicle was outside and neither mechanic witnessed any fluid on the ground Seven X Motors INC's mechanic was able to drive the vehicle back from *** ***'s residence in Smallwood NY to Mongaup Valley where they further inspected a wiring issue caused by rodents which *** *** mentionsThe repair bill that was $was extremely modest compared to all the hours of electrical diagnosis time the mechanics had invested into the vehicle and when the repairs were completed Eric A*** Jr had presented the bill with all of the work performed and then told *** *** that he would only be responsible for $totalSometime after these repairs were completed Seven X Motors was contacted by *** ***s insurance company and presented the same bill to the insurance company which states on it "As per Eric $total" which is why there was a discrepancy in these figures Again as previously stated the warranty with the purchase of the vehicle was only for the first days and covered 50% of the parts and 50% of the labor, even though these repairs were rendered a year after purchase Seven X Motors INC still honored the original agreement and has tried to do nothing but accommodate the customer in the most timely fashion.The last time Seven X Motors INC serviced *** ***s Passport was when he brought it back after attempting to have *** *** Inspect the vehicle and was advised by *** *** the vehicle needed to be driven on the highway to reset the vehicle's computerThis is a common occurrence in vehicles and Seven X Motors INC is familiar with the process, Seven X Motors advised *** *** at that time that it was not a big deal and would be handledSeven X MotorsINC then did the due diligence in researching the proper drive cycle which was specific to the Honda Passport, put gas in the vehicle, spent hours performing the drive cycle and had not asked the customer for penny.Meanwhile, *** *** was extremely frustrated and demanded a full refund in cash, Seven X Motors INC does not carry that amount of cash and denied the request without the proper chance to repair the vehicle first.When the check engine light did come on after performing the drive cycle Seven X Motors INC’s mechanic did the proper research and found a common resolution to the code was a Neutral Safety Switch, which was ordered and installedAlthough this part would not be a covered item, Seven X Motors INC again just did what needed to be done in order to ensure the customers satisfactionOnce the Neutral Safety Switch was installed Seven X Motors INC again put gas in the vehicle and attempted the drive cycleDrive cycles are not easily completed due to the mountainous terrain and busy highway where we are locatedCertain vehicles drive cycles can be completed in as little as miles, others can take over If the cycle is interrupted it will not go through and need to be performed again from the beginningAfter about a week of the vehicles computer still not resetting Seven X Motors INC mechanic did further researchWhat was determined was not a mechanical issue or malfunction or something as simple as the vehicle needing a new transmissionThe next course of action was to start taking a look underneath and inside the vehicleAs *** *** states the vehicle's repair did take longer than anticipated and Seven X Motors INC repeatedly apologized for that, however, Seven X Motors INC mechanics did in fact spend several of their own off time hours in attempt to figure out and resolve the issueIn the beginning of August, as mentioned by *** *** the vehicle was removed from Seven X Motors INC premises in pieces, which was due to the mechanics tear down of the transmission to find the internal cause of failure.*** *** in her statement suggests she was treated unfairly or in a less than forthright mannerAt the end of the day Seven X Motors INC not only honored the original warranty, stood behind the written agreement, stood behind the verbal agreement, but has in fact has gone above and beyond any obligations to accommodate the customerThe frustration *** *** experienced is completely understandable and again Seven X Motors INC apologizes, however Seven X Motors INC was amidst resolving the problem when *** ***’s decision to have the vehicle removed left us without a resolution*** *** speaks of monies she had spent on taxis and so on, while Seven X Motors INC normally receives $an hour for repair work which was never even mentionedSeven X Motors INC litterally has weeks worth of work invested into a vehicle which we were denied full opportunity to repair and make good on and again never requested that the customer paySeven X Motors believes this claim should be dismissed as the company and employees have done everything to make good of a bad situation and ultimately denied the opportunity to complete the repairs needed

I am truly sorry that you feel that way seven X Motors had stood behind you and your purchase every step of the way honoring our warranty and then going above and beyond our warranty even when after the fact still willing to repair your vehicle one year later with no charge to you. Do you have any used car dealership stand behind their word and go as far as we did to accommodate you is very rare to Impossible. We have countless repair orders excluding toll bills and repairs that we never ask for reimbursement for. Seven X Motors also accepted your your offer to trade in your vehicle back to us for another one and give you a fair value for your trade in in the condition that it was in. We were willing to repair your car for free more then 1 year later, we were willing to trade your vehicle in for another vehicle, we performed countless repairs free, we have done absolutely everything in our power for you. When you came to pick up your vehicle from our dealership we had already had your transmission removed, completely diagnosed and torn apart and all new parts needed were already ordered And then had the audacity to complain that it took 5 weeks to do. We are an extremely busy shop and we had many jobs ahead of you however we still took the time even though there wasn't going to be no charge to you and pushed paying customers out of the door to get your vehicle in and remove and completely diagnose your transmission which took about 18 hours of Labor. This is just more evidence and proof of our hard work and dedication in order to satisfy you with your purchase 14 months later however it is clear now that making you satisfied is impossible.
