On September 16th, I was massaging client Dan K(client info will be attachedHe has willingly agreed to act as witness to the event.) Leandra came into the shop ten minutes earlyI greeted her at the front door upon her entryShe informed me she hadn’t received confirmation and asked if
she in fact had an appointment at noonI grabbed my phone to check the scheduleShe indeed was scheduledI assured her she was and that all was okI told her “we’ll get you in shortly for your massage.” After, Leandra seemed to be satisfied with the confirmationI went back to my client (Dan.) I began to feel very uneasy, my heart raced, I was feeling fearful in her companyI continued to try and finish my current clients massage and ensure their comfortFinishing the massage, I came out and got her room ready for her pregnancy massageI wanted to get her in as quickly as possible to prevent dissatisfactionDuring the time I was readying her room, I heard Miss *** playing with my dog who had been sleeping by the entrywayShe then began scolding my dog and telling him to “leave it.” The dog was not at any time tied to the tableHe is our service/companion dogAfter I got the room ready, I turned to Miss *** and told her I was ready for her now and would be taking her back for her hour massageI gently placed my hands on my thighs as I said this as I was ready to take her backThis all was done in a clam mannerThat is when Miss *** asked about the time that had been bookedShe wanted to know if it was an hour or an hour and a halfWe had already discussed this over the phone a week prior while she was acquiring about the pregnancy massageI had assured Miss *** we would not be splitting the total timeI had instructed her to include this in the instructions while booking or tell me this when she arrived, as the pregnancy massage is an additionMiss *** seemed to understand that she needed to book the full hour and a half to redeem the gift certificateWe do not split gift certificates for multiple servicesI then emailed her on 9/14/to make sure she was able to book okThis was two days before in order to confirm that everything worked outI did not hear from Miss *** until she walked in for her session that dayI didn’t receive her email earlier that day as I was massaging other clientsWe have a hour cancellation policy that is part of the booking processMiss *** was trying to email me the morning of which canceling or changing services that day is within the hour window of the cancellation policyI would think that she would’ve resolved this issue earlier to avoid possibly getting the fee for thatAfter asking, I reminded her she knew what she had booked and received confirmation for thatI reminded her that she was scheduled for an hour and that was all we could get her in forI had also noticed at this time that she hadn’t filled out the intake formI calmly reassured her that I would break the gift certificate into two just to appease herMiss *** became angry and said I was being “dismissive” and “a bad business woman.” I again reminded her of her optionsShe then started screaming very loudly “you are a disgusting woman!” Miss *** did this twiceThis is when I asked her to leave as I walked away in fearWhen I was in the back she was still yelling “you’re a disgusting woman!” I asked her again to leave to protect myself and other client (Dan.) Miss *** left but continued to scream as she didI came back out to greet my other clientMiss *** was charged for the appointment being canceled within the hour period, which is stated and understood when bookingAfter he left and I could assure he was safe, I went out where Miss *** was sitting outsideI approached her with my puppy on the leash and confirmed that I had emailed her and thought it was worked out when I didn’t hear backMiss *** began yelling again that she tried to reschedule but couldn’tShe said I wasn’t listening to her to which I responded “It’s hard when you’re yelling.” I tried to resolve the issue again but it was apparent she wasn’t wanting toMiss *** said she would be appeased if she was refunded the whole amount but nothing elseI informed her that she is no longer welcome as a customerShe was screaming about being pregnant and showing her belly in an absurd mannerI walked away with my dogI continued getting calls and messages from Miss ***’s husbandI messaged Mr*** and notified him that we would not be refunding the gift certificate and not welcoming Miss *** as a clientI told him he could give it to someone who respected our policiesI received many messages demanding refundsThe last contact I received was an angry message, screaming and yelling about charging them for the missed appointmentAll clients sign this on the intake formI called the cops in reference to Miss *** not being allowed on this propertyThe police filing number is: CSF 100717-

I am rejecting this response due to its patently untrue nature. Ms. W[redacted]'s story is fully fabricated and fails to address the repeated dismissal of our attempts to reach a detente. Ms W[redacted] was hostile, abusive, and thoroughly unprofessional throughout. Her rebuttal to our claim demonstrates her inability to to communicate professionally, truthfully or even clearly. The testimony of other patrons of her business, who were likewise subjected to abuse at her hands and have made similar claims against her, bear out the version of events as I reported them. It is my understanding that they have similarly filled complaint.To date we have received no communication from Ms. W[redacted] in our attempt to settle this matter. It is my hope that the Revdex.com draws on the submitted complaints of others as well as our own to protect other consumers from falling victim to Ms. W[redacted]'s deceptive and unprofessional practices.
