Ocean Surf Motel

Review: I spoke with owner about possibly booking a stay at his resort. I gave him my credit card info and told him I needed to discuss this booking with my wife to decide if we would actually officially book the stay. He said he would send me an email copy of the official contract. He led me to believe that the booking would be valid when he received the signed email back. My wife and I decided not to go mainly because we thought the accomodations might not be suitable for our severely disabled son. Therefore, we did not return the email. I telephoned the owner and informed him & he became very irate. I called my credit card company,Capital One, to make sure I was not biiled. They informed me that the charges had been put through. I told them that was not my intent as I had not signed and returned the contract. Capital One took my info and said they would turn the matter over to their dispute department and I would be notified of results in thirty days.Desired Settlement: Cancellation (refund) to the charge on our Capital One account.

The business did not contact us. However it was resolved by the Credit Card company.
