***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My husband and I have elected to have the problem resolved and frankly want no further contact with Ocean View Plumbing. I have no confidence in their collective ability to make repairs since they failed to properly fix the icemaker. In addition, while they may SAY they are now willing to make amicable amends, it would have been far more honest to make those amends when it mattered instead of after we took these actions. As for their bill, I certainly hope that they will take the following items into considerations: 1) The icemaker worked fine before they worked on it 2) It took phone calls over a period of two weeks just to get someone to acknowledge there was a problem 3) We tried to get them to check their repair long before we contacted the Revdex.com and they were hardly amicable and insisted over and over that the problem was not anything they had done, nor were they willing to work with us to check. We were told to call an appliance repair company. In conclusion, we will wait until we see what their idea of proper billing will be before we pursue this any further. As per Customers request we will remove ourselves from this situation.  We will not bill for materials or time invested in this endeavor out of respect for attempting a resolution. We have serviced this system for many years without ever encountering an issue so this is unfortunate.  We did check the repair before any other agency was contacted and recommend an appliance man for the refrigerator.  We never touched the refrigerator on either of our two trips to the house, so we could not have damaged or repaired it.  Ocean View Plumbing will consider this matter closed short of a satisfactory solution, again per homeowner's request.Feel free to call with any questions.

Review: My husband [redacted] and I asked Ocean View Plumbing to replace a filter for our ice maker., which they did on August 5th.. Prior to this action, the ice maker functioned properly, the only issue was the ice did not taste right. The ice maker has not worked since. We called the following morning to get someone back to the house to fix this - no one showed up and when I called to find out they said the tech had to be sent home but they'd called and left us a message. Then the owner (I suppose since I was transferred without any introduction) suggested we try turning water valves. That did nothing. I called them back and got rudely transferred again. Again, I told them the ice maker was still broken. He told me that it was not "broken" or I would have water on the floor. Sorry but "worked before"+ "doesn't work now" = BROKEN. Finally a week later we got another representative here who claimed he KNEW our system and he turned the same water valve. Told us to wait 12 hours and we would have ice. Nothing again. We called back (again) and THIS time we were told that it was a filter problem on the actual refrigerator and there was nothing they could or would do since "they don't fix appliances." Keep in mind that AT NO TIME did anyone touch the refrigerator or the ice maker. They have not even offered to check to see if there is a problem w/the line from the filter to the refrigerator (or with the filter itself) because the faucet on the sink works. His "solution" was that I contact an appliance repair company to fix what their technician broke. This is totally unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I need them to fix what they broke..
