We've planned on getting a pool for the last five yearsWe're from [redacted] and there was no room to have a pool there, so coming down to North Carolina with a nice piece of property, we thought a pool was a must-haveAnd I got some good feedback from my aunt who had an Anthony & Sylvan pool built seven years agoI had done a lot of research on pools and pools company too, but I didn't know little things like where would you like the sun to hit you when your pool is builtSo, I loved that the pool we got from Anthony and Sylvan answered questions that I didn't even know we hadOur pool's beautifully constructed and it's pretty much everything that was designed in the consultant portion of the processIt's also easy to maintain and that's the best part which my husband loves My project manager was also amazingHe visited the site every time we had a major phase go by, even with the depth building and the coping, he was always accessibleHe was laid back, but whenever we did have a question, the response time was amazingAnd the scheduler was also outstandingWe couldn't be happier
Anthony & Sylvan provided inground saltwater pool design, construction, and operational instruction services for our new home's backyardWe met with two other companies but A&S was the only company that recognized and addressed the serious drainage problem in our backyardThat, plus the company's national reputation and neighbor endorsements, and xxxx expertise and superior customer service sold us on the companyxxxxx in conunction with xxxxx, the project manager, stayed engaged with us throughout the constructionThey worked alongside the subcontractors who removed trees, installed the hardscaping around the pool, designed and installed the final landscaping and irrigation, and provided pool operation and maintenance instruction We are educated consumers, having owned a large, enclosed, inground pool in FloridaWe are extremely pleased with A&Sxxxxx met with us several times to understand our success criteria and presented us with a computer-aided design that enabled us to visualize the constructed pool on our propertyHe willingly tweaked the plan until it was just rightHe then took care of the permitting process and worked with us to get Home Owner Association approvalAlthough ours was the smallest design A&S constructs, xxxxx made us feel importantHis knowledge and engaging personality made the planning funWhen construction began, xxxxx became our primary contact and main liaison with the subsHe directed the work from removal (and repair) of our fencing to allow machinery access to replacement of the stairway leading to the pool deck from our porch at project completionHis crew encased our screened porch with plastic to minimize dust intrusion during application of the gunnite, and throughout the process they were meticulous about cleanup and safetyDespite weather challenges, the schedule went very smoothlyWhenever we had questions or concerns, we contacted xxxxx and got immediate responseFrom the beginning of construction in October to punch list completion in March 2015, we were highly satisfied with A&S
We moved here from Arizona in and we've always had pools out there so we've been wanting to get one since thenWe had Anthony & Sylvan build a free-form pool for usOur decking is Travertine Pavers and we have a nice tanning shelf with little bubblerI like the shape that we picked with the benches in it and the tanning shelfThe tanning shelf is my favorite then the deck jets which are funOur Project Manager was a wonderful gentlemanHe was happy, positive and provided good informationWhat he said was going to happen, happenedOur scheduler was communicative, polite and very prompt in getting back with us
Had a 500ftgunite pool put in last fallPool is beautiful and we could not be happier with itOur only regret was not having it put in earlier in the yearThe pool was finished in early November so it was too cold to use last yearWe can't wait to use it this yearMy children have loved splashing around the edge all winterI would not hesitate for a second to have them install another pool for meWe were going to go with a vinyl lined pool from a different builder but after xxxxx presentation and breaking down the cost difference it was an easy decision to go with a gunite pool from Anthony & SylvanThe beautiful pool we now have should last a lifetime
Anthony & Sylvan pools was a referral by my contractor and friendsI had a free form with a spill-over spa, which I really enjoy, along with the sun shelfAnd I am looking forward to entertaining friends and family beside my new poolI am happy with Anthony & Sylvan, and I would recommend them
Anthony & Sylvan installed a new in-ground concrete swimming pool for usThe end result is amazing We have a beautiful pool ready for the spring seasonThe process began with our designer, xxxxx, visiting our home and listening to what we had in mind We'd spent a lot of time looking a photos and really knew what we wanted xxxxx created a CAD design during our first meeting and priced out the pool We took some time to think the proposal through, and spent time negotiating of courseOnce we signed the contract, we had a meeting with xxxxx and our project manager xxxxx to lay out the pool design in the backyard This is when it really started to come to life xxxxx gave us an overview of all the steps in the process along with documentation on every detailExcavation was done in a day or two and then within days we had a concrete shell The process slows down here, and sometimes feels like it will drag on forever But in the end, they met the original date they forecasted - early DecemberA&S did a great job and we can wait to use our new pool this summer
