We were happy to provide a comfortable stay for this group based upon the policies outlined in the agreement that is shared during the reservation processOne tent site was cancelled prior to their arrival and the deposit for this accommodation was refundedUpon arrival, two more tent sites were
cancelled and the deposit was not returned per our cancellation policyThe children in the group became unruly in the creekThe cabin and tent sites occupied by the group had copious amounts of trash throughout the surrounding grounds and one cottage in particular had several piles of dog feces outsideThe pet occupying this unit also damaged a bath mat, hand towel, and washcloth that needed to be disposed ofThe pet deposit was kept to cover these costs and the pet owner acknowledged these happeningsDuring the check-out process, the trash and behavior of the children in the creek was addressed in a professional manner as we strive to maintain a comfortable, safe, and clean campground for all of our guestsMrs*** grew very upset and began berating the team membersWe addressed the situation as best we could and once we received additional correspondence following their departure, we offered to refund the two tent sites that weren’t used even if the cancellations did not adhere to our policiesThis was our last communication the group and we are more than happy to further address their concerns as we want all of our guests to enjoy their experience with us
