Oceanside Debt Management Reviews (18)

I received a letter in the mail stating Oceanside could help me to settle my debtsI called them and they are in fact a legitimate company so I ended up enrolling in their programIt was a very smooth and easy process and the people I spoke with were very informative and friendly I would recommend to those looking to get out of debt!

I got a notice in the mail regarding a program to help me pay off my debtI was a bit skeptical at first but they checked outI have now been in for a few months now and have nothing positive to say about themIts actually been a huge saver for usThanks!

Misleading advertising by sending people "final notice" letters making them believe they have outstanding debt The falsely use logo and text "accredited business Revdex.com A+ rating"

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I can understand the situation this company is in, and I believe helping people that need help with their debt is a good thing However, using a marketing company that utilizes scare tactics with information is unethical In the letter that was sent to me there is a debt, a settlement amount, a monthly payment option and a reference number This says to me, collections bill Someone, either through you or the marketing company, had to approve the format to those letters I will not condone this Remove me from any mailing or call list from here on out Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

I received a mailing that said Final Notice and looked like a debt collection letter Upon opening it, I found a letter from the Oceanside Debt Management, College Blvd #102, Oceanside, CA It had the Revdex.com accredited Business seal with an A+ and it started off with Please contact our office immediately It went on to say that they can help me clear my debt and I was selected to participate in the Credit Card Hardship Plan
I have EXCELLENT credit and do not owe a lot on my credit cards I don't know what their game is This company is fraudently using the Revdex.com's name to scam people and thought you should be aware of it I would be happy to send you a copy of this letter

+1

The reply of this company to Cynthia in September might be seen as reasonable, but I just received the same letter "final notice" and assumed debtI don't have any debt, so they must still be using a bogus direct mail providerAs someone who always pays my bills, I am offended by the appearance of this piece of mailAn elderly person may be confused by this mailingI suggest this company clean up it's actI hope I never hear from them again

I received a letter from Debt Management Center stating 'Final Notice' and skeptically called from a number not linked to myself to see if this was a phishing scamAt first I assumed it was fraudulent because their correspondence comes off as a debt collection companyThe first questionable aspect was that the company name listed on the form isn't the main companyApparently it's some outsourced cofor them to bring in clients for debt reliefThen the mail listed a P.OBox instead of a physical addressI called and spoke to a representative from this alleged company and he gave me the headquarter's company name, why it's different is very illegitimate, so I could do my researchI check the Revdex.com website for information on the company, Oceanside Debt Management, that's based out of CaliforniaIt is in fact NOT Revdex.com Accredited as it is stamped on their mailHowever, they are A+ ratedI spoke to Revdex.com agents from NJ and CA to verify this company and they stated they've been trying to contact Oceanside Debt Management to STOP using their logo because they are not accredited, even though they're in the process of becoming accreditedCan we say LOGO INFRINGEMENT???? This is an extreme red flag to the credibility and integrity of this companyIt's a shame because I probably could've benefited from their services, but I'm not entrusting thousands of dollars when they clearly don't have their operations running properly

ODM IS a legitimate company that helps consumers become debt free.  We are basically the opposite of a collection company so we are NOT collecting anything from you/anyone.  We have a 3rd party marketing company that sends out the mail pieces to market for our company.  We...

have been striving to remove the "Accredited" notice from our mailing pieces over the past few weeks.  Unfortunately, there are still a few people that have gotten the old mail pieces.  We have been in business over 6 years and we had NO complaints until we started using these mail pieces at the beginning of this (2016) year.  We have had ZERO complaints about our actual services that we provide.  We are making the changes necessary to make sure this doesn't happen in the future and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Please be advised that this letter is coming to you from a 3rd party ex-affiliate of ours that is NOT authorized to use our name as of October 2016.  We will be contacting the San Diego Revdex.com next week with all of the documentation proving this fact and be moving to have a disclosure put on...

our Revdex.com listing explaining this also.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.  Feel free to contact our corporate offices at 800-438-1974 if you have any other questions.  We live answer our phones 99.9% of the time during normal business hours of 8-4 M-F PST.  Again we apologize for any inconvenience.

In the past 30-60 days, we have changed the way we do mail marketing to make it easier for consumers to understand.  Keep in mind all of our direct mail goes out via bulk mail due to cost savings and per the United States Postal Service.  They claim that bulk mail can take up to 21 calendar days to arrive to a prospective consumer. Most consumers do not check their mail box daily so the mail sits in a consumer mailbox up to a week on average.  Then some consumer do not open the actual mail for several days later so keep in mind we have already removed the Revdex.com logo & torch and accreditation over a month ago so this means that and recent complaints that have come in the past few weeks is from old bulk mail that was sent out 5-6+ weeks ago.  We apologize for the inconvenience and we are sincerely making changes to alleviate this kind of complaint/problem in the future.
