Ochs Auto Sales Reviews (2)

To whom it may concern: ID # [redacted] My name is [redacted] w [redacted] owner and president of Ochs Auto Sales, Incin Perryville, Mo I just received this today and immediately sat down to respond: Ms [redacted] is not being accurate nor fair in anything she says even allowing he the right to her own opinion, but the facts will make this simple and clearMs [redacted] had her vehicle to my shop two times , on 6/22/a basic service was done then on 8/09/she returned and had a service, a stabilizer bar link/bushings replaced and a right axel seal replaced, the axel seal was to be done on a warranty she had from when she purchased the vehicle, but the warranty company denied coverageupon doing the repair the tech saw that a piece was missing on the inner lip of transmission housing but noted that the rubber on the seal sat higher then the piece that was missing so he installed the seal to try to stop her leak at first it did not leak and car was released to Ms [redacted] , however she shortly thereafter called and a tech and service adviser went to her home and picked the car up and gave Ms [redacted] a rental car from our rental company at no charge, the service adviser found that ford had a different variety of this seal and we sent a driver to [redacted] ford to retrieve this and this seal was wider and had a dust cover , we installed this and the tech used a silicone to insure a seal on the dust cover not the seal, The proper repair for this would have been a new transmission but the tech tried to make it work – a new trans was ordered and received at the start of this but warranty company denied the claim, so we returned the transmissionThis vehicle was operated by Ms [redacted] until mid feburary when she had a” caliper lock up per mark her new mechanic” Ms [redacted] called my shop and said that she almost had a wreck and mark said it was our fault and we installed the seal wrong and it was just hanging on the axel and so on this call is recorded ! so I went to main street and asked to see this Mark told me he did not tell her that , I noted that there was just a small amount of fluid under car as this leak must have just started/ he agreed and it was talked about that the jolt from the brake locking up might have caused it to pop loose -- the seal was intact but the dust cover had popped loose : In summary the big issue is when this vehicle entered my shop it had a piece missing in the flange where the seal sits!!!! That’s why it was leakingThe tech documented this , the service administrator says he told her this and the documents support it as the notes are time stamped on the invoice notes , all they tried to do was stop the leak at that point to try to help her but she does not seem to realize that we gave her a car on 8/09/at 7:pm and allowed her to use it until 8/18/at no charge and her only obligation was to return it full of fuel , well guess what she had to be charged because she was so nice as not to all this time the shop was trying to fix this for her without having to charge her for a transmission / she is rude and doesn’t seem to listen and seems to hear what she wants to hear!! Josh was wrong in trying to help her she should have just been only given a new transmission option and been done , instead he tried to help her only to be insulted and slammed by her , her entire bill for the axel repair was $which was $for parts and $for labor and note she was only charged for the first seal we even ate the second one , So in short I will not do anything for this lady and I am truly ok with her not coming back to my store and all my facts and documents are being forwarded to my attorney to be ready and to defend any negative responses from Ms [redacted] My son offered to talk to her and her shop and she refused and said she was obtaining an attorney and that was the end of me extending and kind of policy towards this individual: I have a full packet of tech notes , service advisers dated and time stamped noted order and return invoices for the transmission that was needed , emails in correspondence with the warranty company, rental documents, repair invoices and more upon request Also her claim that this was causing her brake problem is a outright lie there was no fluid at all in or near the vicinity of the tire or the brake and how could a fluid leak cause a brake issue if it is not contaminating the brakes – and remember this is the end of February so over months not a word but after a caliper locks up it starts to leak again so the attempt to help her and seal the leak did help for months!!!!!!! Respectfully I remain [redacted] W [redacted]

To whom it may concern: ID # [redacted] My name is [redacted] w [redacted] owner and president of Ochs Auto Sales, Inc. in Perryville, Mo . I just received this today and immediately sat down to respond:   Ms. [redacted] is not being accurate nor fair in anything she says even allowing he the right to...

her own opinion, but the facts will make this simple and clear. Ms. [redacted] had her vehicle to my shop two times , on 6/22/16 a basic service was done  then on 8/09/16 she returned and had a service, a stabilizer bar link/bushings replaced  and a right axel seal replaced, the axel seal was to be done on a warranty she had from when she purchased the vehicle, but the warranty company denied coverage. upon doing the repair the tech saw that a piece was missing on the inner lip of transmission housing but noted that the rubber on the seal sat higher then the piece that was missing so he installed the seal to try to stop her leak at first it did not leak and car was released to Ms. [redacted], however she shortly thereafter called and a tech and service adviser went to her home and picked the car up and gave Ms. [redacted] a rental car from our rental company at no charge, the service adviser  found that ford had a different variety of this seal and we sent a driver to [redacted] ford to retrieve this and this seal was wider and had a dust cover , we installed this and the tech used a silicone to insure a seal on the dust cover  not the seal, The proper repair for this would have been a new transmission but the tech tried to make it work – a new trans was ordered and received at the start of this but warranty company denied the claim, so we returned the transmission. This vehicle was operated by Ms. [redacted] until mid feburary when she had a” caliper lock up per mark her new mechanic” Ms. [redacted] called my shop and said that she almost had a wreck and mark said it was our fault and we installed the seal wrong and it was just hanging on the axel and so on  this call is recorded ! so I went to main street and asked to see this  Mark told me he did not tell her that , I noted that there was just a small amount of fluid under car as this leak must have just started/ he agreed and it was talked about that the jolt from the brake locking up might have caused it to pop loose   -- the seal was intact but the dust cover had popped loose : In summary the big issue is when  this vehicle entered my shop it had a piece missing in the flange where the seal sits!!!! That’s why it was leaking. The tech documented this , the service administrator says he told her this and the documents support it as the notes are time stamped on the invoice notes , all they tried to do was stop the leak at that point to try to help her but she does not seem to realize that   we gave her a car  on 8/09/2016 at 7:41 pm and allowed her to use it until 8/18/2016 at no charge and her only obligation was to return it full of fuel  , well guess what  she had to be charged 24.75 because she was so nice as not to .  all this time the shop was trying to fix this for her without having to charge her for a transmission / she is rude and doesn’t seem to listen and seems to hear what she wants to hear!! Josh was wrong in trying to help her she should have just been only given a new transmission option and been done , instead he tried to help her only to be insulted and slammed by her , her entire bill for the axel repair was $113.20 which was $7.60 for parts and $105.60 for labor and note she was only charged for the first seal  we even ate the second one , So in short I will not do anything for this lady and I am truly ok with her not coming back to my store and all my facts and documents are being forwarded to my attorney to be ready and to defend any negative responses from Ms [redacted]. My son offered to talk to her and her shop and she refused and said she was obtaining an attorney and that was the end of me extending and kind of policy towards this individual: I have a full packet of tech notes , service advisers dated and time stamped noted  order and return invoices for the transmission that was needed , emails in correspondence with the warranty company, rental  documents, repair invoices  and more upon request   Also her claim that this was causing her brake problem is a outright lie there was no fluid at all in or near the vicinity of the tire or the brake and how could a fluid leak cause a brake issue if it is not contaminating the brakes – and remember this is the end of February  so over 6 months not a word but after a caliper locks up it starts to leak again so the attempt to help her and seal the leak did help for 6 months!!!!!!!   Respectfully I remain    [redacted] W [redacted] .
