I was notified by phone call my account balance for the last 3 months. I spoke to a Michael *** who called me while I was at work around 10 am. I told him I could make it in later in the evening before they close. I arrived a little after 330 but I was calling the office starting at 3pm. I thought he stated there was a drop box. I have had this storage for about 2 years and was able to either pay online or pay by phone. The new management has changed its policy to if you are late you have to come to the office and pay by money order. I do this and my money order comes up missing after I push it through the drop box with a hanger. I see it drop to the floor into the office. The manager says they did not receive it. I have the receipt and it takes 30 days for the money order trace to be completed. It takes 3 days to see if it has been received and cashed in by anyone. I requested to receive the owners number to speak with him about the matter and the manager refused to give me the information. I would like for the owner to contact me and speak to me about my concerns. I requested for a one time payment via phone and it was refused. Michael started he would call me back and refused. I do not want my storage to have a lien on it. I need your help in the matter.
Contact by the Business I am in need of the owners number and information so that I can file an official police report with them about the matter. If someone is stealing money orders from your office after dropbox. This needs to be investigated.
The tenant Miss ***, has a balance that was due from back in December of 2019, we tried to contact he multiple times about her unit. Her daughter had sent us an email about paying her mothers balance back in January, I had informed her that because the unit was so far behind payment had to be made in the office, and because she was not listed on the account as a point of contact I was unable to give the daughter any more information. After weeks of calling and leaving both emails and voice messages I was finally able to get a hold of the tenants. She was to come to the office that day and bring an a money order for the whole balance of $140 at the time. I tried to call the tenant to let her know I was leaving the property early due to an emergency, the line kept ringing busy, so I left. The tenant claims that she came to the facility and left a money order in our drop box. We look over the camera footage and saw that she in near the drop box and it looks looks as if she puts something in the drop box. In our office I never saw the money order but I did get a note that the tenant had left about paying her unit. I told her that we did not have the money order. Miss *** wanted to speak with my manger so I gave her the company's vice president's number they had talked and miss *** said that she would trace the money order and would find out if it was cashed or not. No one has heard from miss *** since regarding the issue.
