Review: I took it in to have electrical issue looked at after I took it home from the same company a week ago that installed 2 tvs for 1300$. I brought in my own tv so they charged me 1300$ for brackets and labor.. first est was 800$. so I get home and the power isn't working so I told them they said bring it in.. so I went there and they told me it would be 100$ to look at 110 outlet plus 100$ TO LOOK AT FUEL STATION.. I STATED IT WAS ALL WORKING WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF THE FIRST TIME.. HE SAID HE NEVER TOUCHED ELECTRICAL. WHICH HE WAS LIEING BECAUSE HE TESTED THE TVS TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE WORKING BECAUSE HE CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL 300$ TO PLUG IT IN AND RUN IT TO MY ATTENNEAS... SO THE NEXT DAY I GET A CALL AND SAY THEY MY WIRES HAD BURNED FROM THE FUEL STATION TO THE BATTERY CORE WHICH IS 36FT.. HE TOLD ME MY BATTERYS HAVE MELTED ALSO, SO I ASKED WHAT THEY DID AND HE SAID HE ONLY PLUGGED IT IN, WHICH WAS ANOTHER LIE BECAUSE THAT WOULD OF HAPPENED TO ME. THATS HOW I KNEW I HAD A PROBLEM AND TOOK IT TO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE I WASNT GETTING POWER. SO I GO DOWN THERE AND LOOK AT IT.. THE BATTERYS ARE MELTED AND SO ARE THE WIRING.. HE TOLD ME IT WOULD COST 1000$ TO FIX AND REPLACE.. I TOLD HIM WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF BATTERYS WERE IN PERFECT SHAPE AND I WASNT GETTING POWER SO WHATEVER THEY PLUGGED IN OR TRIED TO FIX CAUSED THE DAMAGE.. HE INSISTED IT WAS MY FAULT AND THAT I PAY,, SO I OVERLOOKED THE ELECTRICAL BOX AND IT SHOWS IT WAS TAKEN OFF AND 2 WIRES WERE LOSE..Desired Settlement: I JUST WANT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE I DROPPED IT OFF..ILL HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY FIX IT.. JUST REPLACE WHAT U BURNED,, AND MAYBE AN APOLOGY LETTER TO MY KIDS FOR RUINING ARE CHRISTMAS VACATION.. EVEN AFTER I TOLD THE GUY I DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY 2 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND 3 DAYS BEFORE ARE CHRISTMAS VACATION TO PISMO BEACH.. HE SAID (HOMEBOY DONT COME AT ME LIKE THAT)...... HE RUINED IT...
Mr. [redacted] brought in his trailer on 10/14 to have two customer supplied tv's mounted. We discussed the project requiring both the TV's to be mounted and also work to be done to carry power to the TV set. He stated he would do the electrical work himself and just have us mount the TV sets. After mounting the tv's which required building a custom mount we had not planned on due to the front tv requiring a custom mount specific to this Sony tv only (standard mounts required modification) I plugged directly into them with an extension cord and tested them. We then spoke on the phone and I reminded him that in order for the TV's to work he would still need extensions to the power plug and wiring to the antenna jack. He asked us to go ahead and run the cords. I ran extension cords only and plugged them into his existing sockets, no internal wiring or electrical work was done on the trailer other than this. I also ran co-axial cable to the antenna plugs. The rear cords were run through the cabinets and had wire track covering the exposed portions. I then tested the tv's on the trailers 110V system with the trailer plugged into shore power. At no time did we plug in or work on his generator or his 12V power system, the only electrical done at all was plugging in the extension cords to the existing receptacles. The total of this job was $1,185.06.
