Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,
[redacted] His statements are totally inaccurate. The certified check was sent in the at of 1212.73 as stated and sent the day he left my property. He chose to not accept it even though I paid him more then he was entitled to. Only reason I did pay him was he  threatened to file a lien if I disputed but he did that anyways. I am additionally paying the remaining amount $198 he is requesting to remove the lien then I will be suing him. I have witnesses to the fact, I was not difficult and requested NO additional work over and above stated in contract. He was arrogant, rude and unprofessional. His work was sloppy and he not only didn't complete the work, but did a lousy job supervising people he had never met and making sure the work was done correctly. In addition to a need now to hire someone  to repair his work, there is damage to my property. I have many photos showing this but not able to add additional photos to this but more then happy to provide. He also added charges for things they damaged and had to then repair. If further information or documentation is needed, please let me know.

I am disputing this customer's complaint. I had to place a mechanics lien against her for refusal of payment. She states she sent a certified check to me which is not true. I have never received a final payment of $1405.51. I am attaching the invoice which shows the material I purchased was...

over $1500 not $635 like she stated. The original estimate was for $1500 labor costs plus materials which was to replace 11 boards. I gave her a copy of all of the receipts which totaled $1505.51. The additional labor I charged her was due to the fact that when I took off the wood siding there was a lot damage wood due to rot on the back patio area. I showed her the rotted wood and gave her the choice to replace the rotted wood or not and she agreed to have me do the additional repairs. I ended up replacing 15 damaged boards and we I installed a drip edge on the roof to prevent future damage and repaired an additional soffit area which required additional wood. I also replaced 7 window trim in the front that was not on the original estimate. Throughout the whole process I communicated the additional work that needed to be done to which she agreed to have me fix. She changed the original agreement because she wanted the front of the house to look better than the back so she asked that I patch 2 boards instead of replacing them boards on the back and left side of the house and paint all of the replaced boards. I accepted her new agreement and proceed to do the additional work. She then changed her mind again that she wanted the 2 boards replaced that she had wanted only patched and I informed her that would be an additional $150. This is where the dispute lies over the replacement of 2 boards that I did.. At the end she had her friend/real estate agent walk the property with me and she said everything looked great. I feel I went above and beyond with this customer and my total labor costs was $2400. She was very difficult to work with and I tried hard to make her happy and I did exactly what she asked me to do. I have been in business over 12 years and have had a A+ rating the whole time.  I did not want to file a lien against her but she refused to pay me in full for what we agreed upon.  I will now have to take further legal action against her for defamation of character.
