Ms *** was a client for a short time, March11-April 27. She was a Consumer Direct Service clientWhich is a Medicaid funded program through the state. My service to her was to facilitate payroll to her caregiver (daughter)The program she was in, she is responsible
for the scheduling and direction of her caregiverAnd so I gave Ms Haman a CDS manual with rules and procedures.I also explained and gave tutorial website For software usage. to Daughter (caregiver)Ms*** became upset with my company because she did not hold up her responsibility in the contract. Her caregiver was her daughter at the timeHer daughter and could not comprehend how to use the EVV software , Therefore was ask to use use paper timesheets. At the time of excepting Ms *** as a client I was told that her daughter (caregiver) resided with her and was her main caregiverI that Ms *** was bedridden and unable to be alone. The first three weeks of service I was unable to reach MsHaman or caregiver (daughter). I finally got in touch with Ms*** the client but she was very distraught, crying and very hard to communicate withLater that week her daughter (caregiver) called and stated the had phone problemsI explained to her due to her timesheets being late her pay will be delayed. The next contact I got was from Ms ***(client) On April demanding payment of her caregiver paymentShe was irate and belligerentShe threaten me and stated that she would ruin my business if I didn't pay with in two days. I told her I would take care of the situationShe continue to call and text me with profanity and insultsOn Tuesday ,April 25 Ms*** called me and stated that her caregiver (daughter) who supposedly lived with her, couldn't get to her because she didn't get paidI was confused to why a bedridden person was left alone. I never made any agreement to compensate her for any borrowed money. That is against the law and my contract with state of Missouri. The caregiver payment is not to provide for the client. That is so they can provide themselves and be able to care for their love one. I did offer to come and meet her needs for that dayShe called me out my name and hung up on me. I Then got a call from caregiver(daughter),stating she couldn't contact her mother who was alone. So I stated I would Go to check on her and meet her needs for that dayIn which was out of concern. Daughter(caregiver) told me the door was locked and I would not be able get in and she was min, to an hour awayI told her I would Have to call policeShe became upset said "don't take police to her mother homeSo I went to their home and No answer. I had the police to accompany meI was informed by the police that they are frequently at their addressThe daughter(caregiver ) called I asked if she could borrow money to get her momShe said "no" I at this time was standing outside their home with policeShe called police dispatch and cursed them outI am a caregiver by nature and profession so my intention was to helpBut instead she reported me to you, Department of senior service, the Labor Dept Placed negative ratings on my social media She is trying to destroy my company. I was the second company she did this to I'm a smaller company and it has had a big impact on meI have paid the caregiver her pay. This has been a nightmare for me. I really had nothing to do with the client's financial problems so will not pay any more than the payroll owed to the caregiver (daughter). So since she as received money owed to herI need her to stop harassing and scandalizing my company name
