Review: On July 25 I rented, a villa at [redacted] Close for 11 nights paying a substantial sum of $1582 for the rent. Unfortunately, the villa as described on the website bears little resemblance to the actual state of the villa when we arrived at the rented the property. I am disappointed becausethe villa was not clean-food was found in the cushions of the sofas and doors are dirtymoving the large sofa reveals old paper debris fluff,dust,paper and display flowers on the floorthe beds are old and creaky with thin, grubby linenthe pool furniture is old discoloured and covered in mouldthe pool itself is stained and the pool net brokenthe table lamps are dusty and not been cleanedthe bathroom fittings display sm and grout is discolouredthe shower head is missing from the main master bedroom bathroom-the tap in this bathroom is also brokenthe blinds to the pool area are brokenin one bedroom the table top displays stains in another bedroom the chest of drawers are brokenmaggots were in the garbage cartthe fire extinguisher is not accessible bar kitchen stools were old with worn holes in the fabricWe have photographic evidence of each of these above concerns many of which have been already been provided to the agent Mary Xu at [redacted]To summarise the house did not in any way resemble the description to me in her e mail and from the substantial evidence provided in my photographs to her this is a clear case of misrepresentation which led me to believe that it was of a far higher quality than it actually was.This was our 6th villa visit to the Orlando area and so we are well aware of the standards expected.This was a great disappointment and it effectively spoilt our stay and our holiday.We have written a formal letter via email to Mary Xu the agent detailing the concerns above and providing photographic evidence.However there was no acknowledgement of the issues raised apart from a reply to inform us that she would notify the management company.Desired Settlement: We are seeking a part refund for this rental which frankly was not worth the substantial amount we paid as this villa was misrepresented on the ODVER.com website and also by [redacted]'s e mail which stated that it was" one of the best villas in the Orlando area."
