Oelke Concrete did install a driveway and sidewalk for the [redacted]'s on October 8, 2015. After installation was complete the [redacted]'s were very happy with the work that had been done, we had received multiple emails expressing how satisfied they were.  Referencing bullet point number 1 from Mr....

[redacted]: The light was working when the job was complete. We were not notified of the light not working until July 15, 2016 via email. We also, received an email from Mrs. [redacted] on 10/10/2015 asking us about the tube we ran under their driveway for the yard lamp stating that THEY might need to rewire their yard lamp.  We received notification from Mr. [redacted] around February of 2016 stating that he had some concerns with his driveway. We informed him that we would be out this Spring to resolve any issues as there is nothing we can do in the winter months. We did exchange emails and some missed phone calls after that. Memorial Day weekend we were in contact with Mr. [redacted] as we were heading out of town for a week as was he the following week. We agreed that Oelke Concrete would make the repairs while Mr. [redacted] was out of town. Oelke Concrete covered all expenses for the tear out and replacement of the concerned areas. After the work was complete we received notification from Mr. [redacted] that they were not satisfied with the most recent work that had been completed.  We met with Mr. [redacted] on July 13, 2016 to discuss the repairs that they were unhappy with. At this time Oelke Concrete offered to replace to the entire driveway free of charge in an effort to satisfy the customer. We were told they would get back to us. A month had passed with no word, on August 15, 2016 we received a certified letter threatening to ruin Oelke Concrete's reputation if we did not refund the cost of the initial driveway in October 2015. They also, requested money for an electrician to repair the light. This was not the first time we had been threatened by the [redacted]s. At our July 13, 2016 meeting the same threats were made to us in person.  As stated in their certified letter to Oelke Concrete dated July 29, 2016: As appropriate and necessary, we are prepared to take action with each resource listed above, in addition, if necessary, we will not hesitate to tell others our story via Facebook and other forms of social media. The 7 resources listed being: State of MN Depart of Labor & Industry (referencing they hold our contractor registration number), Office of the Attorney General, Sate of Minnesota, Construction litigation attorney, Conciliation Court Administrator, Revdex.com, Angie's List and the Farmington Independent Newspaper.   Oelke concrete feels they have made a good effort to resolve this matter, the repairs already made and the offer to replace the entire driveway FREE of charge.  We would now be hesitant to move forward with any additional work as we feel the homeowners have become unfriendly and aggressive.  Once again, we covered all cost to repair the driveway and offered to replace the entire driveway.
