We are sorry to hear that Ms*** is unhappy with the move however, the information was communicated to her regarding the cost and is noted on the invoice that she paid prior to submitting payment. If she did not agree with the terms she had the opportunity to opt out at that time. As stated in the prior response this is the first time hearing of damages to other itemsShe was compensated for the mirror she said had a scratch and she could have called us regarding a nick on the chair in a timely manner and we could have addressed that, but due to some information being falsified in her statements we don’t feel that she is being truthful about the nick on the chair. We give our clients the choice to shrink wrap or blanket wrap their furniture. The furniture was wrapped in blankets per the customer request. I do apologize if Ms*** feel as though she was spoken to in a harsh tone by any of our movers. We do not practice being unprofessional or being rude to customers. We value our customers but feel Ms*** is exaggerating her damages. Ms*** I do apologize to you again for any misunderstanding you had but the email spelled out the cost if you went over the hours of move. My decision of a partial refund is denied as we have given a $refund and did not charge for dis-assembly or re-assembly of items. Thank you,Ms***

Ms. [redacted] received an email with a quoted price on 04/04/17 sent to [redacted].[redacted] of $285.00 for a 3 hour move minus a deposit of $75.00.  She was aware that if more time was needed after the 3 hours she would be billed out at $25 per every 15 minute increments.  Ms....

[redacted] was aware the quote did not include disassemble or reassembly of furniture, removal of doors from refrigerators or homes, as that would be an additional cost.  The email clearly states by paying the deposit you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions. We reserve a 1 hour window for arrival time based on traffic, prior move running over, vehicle issues etc.  We were within our time frame for arrival.  This information is relayed to customers during scheduling of their move.  Ms. [redacted] stated only one item was damaged and that was a mirror.  We compensated her by deducting $50.00 off the job cost.  No other damages were conveyed or reported ever until now. I did not raise my voice with Ms. [redacted].  She had her boyfriend to call and after speaking with him I sent him a copy of the email communication to show all information was conveyed.  After reading the email and speaking with her again the boyfriend called back and apologized for his yelling and assuming that we were trying to take advantage at Ms. [redacted].  He stated that “it clearly communicated in the email all terms and conditions were spelled out and she will have to pay the cost incurred”.  Ms. [redacted] had more items than what she stated via texting and phone conversation that needed to be moved and she was coming from a third floor apartment.  That is why it took longer than expected. Furthermore, we did not charge her for the dis-assembly and re-assembly of furniture of 3 beds and other furniture as we should/could have. Ms. [redacted] is trying to take advantage of not paying for services performed and no additional compensation will be issued.    Thank you, [redacted]
