Review: On August [redacted] I received an email from [redacted] regarding my request for information. I provided him with detailed drawings of the office furniture I wanted. After we agreed on the price of 2600/installed, I was told by him the install could happen the following week once he received my 50% deposit. I told him I wanted it to be installed the Friday of September [redacted] in the afternoon. We settled on that date and he told me I would receive an updated invoice with that price and color swatches from his associate Lou. That was the last contact from the company until the morning of September [redacted]. I sent an email on August [redacted] to [redacted] to confirm receipt of my deposit and to let him know I didn't get the color swatches. I never received a response to that email nor did I get a phone call after leaving a message. September [redacted] I emailed [redacted] again to confirm the install for Friday the [redacted] as I had not heard from him or anyone at the company to the contrary. My conversation with [redacted] on Friday morning September [redacted] only happened because I called several times and left messages. I was repeatedly told "He's in the warehouse, can't hear the phone, or no phones." Its 2013, everybody has a cellphone. I was told there was a fire in his paint shop and all the orders were severely delayed. Obviously it didn't happen the night before. Why wasn't my product already in production weeks after my deposit was received? [redacted] continued to give me stories about delays etc. I was told delivery wouldn't happen that day, nor Monday the following week, but likely Tuesday the [redacted]. Again on Tuesday I had to call and hunt down [redacted] and he told me wasn't going to happen that day, it would be Friday the [redacted]. I expressed my dissatisfaction with him and this entire process, and he told me he'd send my money back if I wasn't willing to wait. I told him to proceed. Friday the [redacted] comes around and yet again I had to call and hunt down someone to give me information. I inquired as to who [redacted] was and was given the name [redacted]. I asked to speak to him and [redacted]. I was told neither were available as they were in the "warehouse" and left a message for [redacted] and [redacted] to return my call. Around 11am I got an email from [redacted] from his iphone, saying "his boss told him it's not going to be delivered to me that day and that he would call me around 3pm." I never received a phone call from [redacted] or [redacted]. Monday the [redacted] I had to call yet again to find out what was going on and [redacted] informed me he was no longer doing operations or sales. He transferred me to [redacted] who was helpful. As of midday on September [redacted], my product was not even put together. I had never been asked what color desktop I wanted, nor did [redacted], have record of what color fabric I wanted. I told her that I would like to speak to [redacted] as well, but was told he wasn't available.Desired Settlement: Reduction in price of final balance.
