I don't think we have a recording of the conversation, so I verified the facts again by questioning the three technicians involved with this clientI have reviewed the work orders they submitted and see that they spent the time billed working on the subject equipmentThere are times on larger older machines where the costs can add up quicklyI am sorry that *** feels we did not explain the issues correctlyOur technicians are highly trained experts with an average of 20+ years servicing copiers, but may not be the best at conveying the risks involved in servicing older equipment

Review: I called this computer repair shop because my printer wasn't working properly. They sent a technician out to repair it on site. I was told it was a firmware problem & that the printer would have to be taken into the shop to have a firmware update done on it. This was on a Friday afternoon. I was told that if a tech was in on Saturday I would have it back Saturday afternoon, otherwise it would be done first thing Monday morning. I called them on Monday morning & was told I would get a call back in about 20 minutes. After 2 hours I had to call them back again & was told that the firmware update didn't fix the problem & that it would need a new mother board to repair the printer. I said it wasn't worth the price & to please bring me back my printer. They finally delivered it to me at about 6 pm Monday evening. There were screws missing out of the cover & it was not returned to me in the condition they got it in. Upon taking the covers off the machine I found broken wires inside the machine that connect to the mother board. I decided to try to do the firmware update myself & the printer now works fine after I did the proper repairs of the broken wires. Also now the auto document feed doesn't work on the printer & it was working fine when the technician was here. I called the business to try to solve these problems & have my money refunded & I was hung up on. I feel this company doesn't have a clue what there doing with these machines & the public should know about it so they don't get scammed like I did. They tried to sell me another printer for 500.00Desired Settlement: I will have another repair company fix the auto feed problem with the printer. I have no confidence in this company to repair this printer properly. I just want the $132.00 cash back that I paid them to do nothing & break even more stuff on a printer that I was ultimately able to repair myself.

Review: Office Technology Experts came to my business to diagnosis/repair a Docucolor 240. Three services appointments later and $1,800 in and the problem was never fixed or even diagnosed correctly. The 1st visit they did an overall cleaning and said the machine needed a PM Kit. The 2nd visit they installed the kit and then said we needed to order missing parts for the PM Kit. The 3rd visit after swapping out parts that didn't need to be changed, once again they diagnosed it with another completely different issue. After countless frustrating hours of back and forth we had another tech come in and within the first visit the Docucolor was diagnosed correctly and completely fixed. Office Technology was not even on the right track! They were ordering and changing out parts that didn't need to be replaced. I called the office to discuss my negative experience with them and requested a partial refund, which I gave an ample time for them to do so but, unfortunately I never heard back. I truly believe this company has no idea what they are doing. I have been in business for 30 years and have dealt with countless companies and I have never had such an awful experience before. This is my first time filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. I truly feel I have been scammed and have never experienced such unprofessional behavior.Desired Settlement: A partial refund check of $1,000
