The only reason this job took six hours instead of three is because customer
wasn't truthfull about actual amount of stuff she wanted to moveInstead if 7-boxes and pieces of furniture, that she
described our estimator when she booked the move, our movers had to move about boxes and pieces if furniture
About two hours after the move was completed she called and complained about charges for her moveWe tried to be reasonable with her and gave her 10% discount if entire moveShe seemed to be happy with that at the timeminutes later she called again and said that she wants to be reimbursed amount equal to hour of laborI said, if additional $will make her happy, so be it and credited her credit card additional $
Next day she called again and said that since she endured such a "stress and aggravation", she wants to be reimbursed full amount if the move and I refuse to do that, she will post negative reviews about our company all over the internet
At that time I felt like she was blackmailing our business and told her that I'm not going to discuss this matter with her any longer

Review: I was given an estimated quote of under $300 for movers to move a 1 bedroom from Brooklyn, NY to Cranford NJ. I gave them the amount of furniture, number of boxes (25), and flights of stairs that was required to be given for the quote.We moved yesterday and it took them a total of 6 hours to move us. They sent out three guys and one looked like he could keel over compared to the other two. They were very nice but moved at a slow pace. It took them 2 1/2 hours to just load the truck. They left before me to get to Cranford which takes only 30 minutes. I may have left a good 5-10 minutes after. There was no traffic. I got there and they were nowhere to be found. They finally showed 20 minutes after I got thereAs they got there one of the men asked about being reimbursed for the tolls in cash. This is stated in the estimate that the customer is responsible for paying tolls but he was asking for cash when I was told by the rep that everything can be put on a credit card except for tip. The mover also asked for the moving expenses in cash which flipped my lid because he obviously was not informed how the transaction was going to go. After 2 1/2 hours of unloading we settle the bill and all was put on the credit card of $768 which was outrageous. I called the owner, [redacted], at ###-###-#### and all he did was give me a 10% discount. He basically said that this was a good as you are going to get from me. He said that the rep gave me a minimum estimate which I understand but that big of an amount jump is ridiculous. I have had movers before that moved the same amount of things in a faster time at a much lower priceThe customer service is no help either. In fact, if you call and no one answers they only give you the option to leave a message. I have done this and no one gets back to you. I kept calling til I got a real live person on the phone. TDesired Settlement: I just would like $300 of my money back because there is no way that it should have taken them that long. About two hours after the move was completed she called and complained about charges for her move. We tried to be reasonable with her and gave her 10% discount if entire move. She seemed to be happy with that at the time. 20 minutes later she called again and said that she wants to be reimbursed amount equal to 1 hour of labor. I said, if additional $20 will make her happy, so be it and credited her credit card additional $20.

Review: I called the office in Hoboken New Jersey for a New Jersey moved, when the driver arrived he told me he is located in Brooklyn therefore I had to pay for travel time plus toll. I reluctantly did it because I had no choice on a sunday afternoon. We loaded the items in the truck and went to the storage facility the movers mishandling of the time cause sever damage to my headboard that caused $600, he told me he would take it to the office becasue they will have to weigh it to submit a claim. I thought he was truthful and was acting in good faith. After we finished at the storage site we had a few extra boxes, I asked the drive since he was going to Brooklyn cold he take the boxes, he said yes but at a cot of $250, I gave him the $250 but $80 tip. I called the office a week later as I didn't no get a call regarding the damanged headboard. Having explained what happened to the [redacted] he became utterly abusive and and hung up. I numerous messages but got no returned call.Desired Settlement: That they replace the damaged item
