Ogden Auto Towing

They are great to work with, I will use them for all my towing needs.

I am a lien holder trying to evaluate and assist my customer in an insurance claim. This company has been difficult, rude, unprofessional and totally uncooperative. The vehicle was removed from an accident in Ogden canyon, and the owner was taken away by ambulance. When he was released he called us told us what had happened, and explained to him that he was at the tow company and they will not let him get his stuff. They told him he had to pay $50 to retrieve items from the car. When I sent my adjuster over to look at the car, they drove him away telling him he cant go in to look at the car until they have the title or the bill is paid. When I tried to call and work with them and explain to them the process, Zach the manager was rude, abusive and said we stopped payment on a check with them and therefore they are not going to do doing anything to work with us. When I tried to find out about this stop payment he hung up on me, I tried to call back several times to talk to them and they just kept hanging up on me. The next day I tried to talk with the owner, he was the exact same way. I have never ever been treated by a company like this ever. My customer called me today he said he went to the tow yard to pay the 50 and retrieve his things, they then told him no, sorry its $100 and we want the title. They also told him we were calling and causing problems for him. they also changed their story about the stop payment, now its a $1000 bounced check. I need help. This company should not be allowed to treat people like this. I have recorded calls and I have filed a complaint with udot, and the dmv. Please help me.

on 9-1-17 my vehicle was parked on 25th street in ogden it was towed with the authority of opd by ogden auto towing at approx 7:30 am for being illegally parked. So of course when I went to go get the vehicle saturday morning it was gone. Called opd dispatch who informed me who had towed it I called them their dispatcher answered it and told me they did have my vehicle but they would be closed until tuesday because of the holiday weekend and that would be the soonest I could pick my vehicle up. So tuesday morning 8:00am im there to pick up my vehicleand they charge me four days storage 160.00 plus the towing fee and they insist on cash no check no card. I contact Detective mat ward opd he checks into it and informs me that the contract they have with this towing company requires them to make the vehicle available to the owner wich it was not although zach from the towing company lied and told the detective that I never tried to come and pick the car up I contacted zach with this information and he offered me 50.00 and when I told him I wanted all the storage fees back because if they would have let me have my car on saturday they would have had it less than six hours he then declined to even give me the 50.00 I would like to get the storage fees back and if not I would like the public to know how this towing company goudges the public with the dishonesty this can all be proven through cell phone recods. thank you

July 1st my vehicle and trailer were involved in a collision and Ogden towing was the company responsible for storing the vehicle till insurance found fault. The 01 Silverado was stored at the west valley lot and the trailer stored at the Murray lot. Today was the first time I have seen my truck in 45 days as I was not allowed since the bill had not been paid by Geico. The vehicle was transported from the west valley yard to the Geico storage yard appx. 2 weeks ago according to Zac of Ogden towing which was contacted at 3:20pm Aug 15 2017. Upon visiting the Geico yard earlier this morning I did a mental inventory as well as I wrote everything down the day of the accident that was in the vehicle. I will add that I was law enforcement for years and can stand dishonesty. I went this morning and retrieved personal items and found that a laptop, camera, hypertech programmer, ammo box containing .22 ammunition, 20 dollar bill 1976 series was missing. A police report will be filed as it is over 500 dollars. I notified Ogden towing and Zac had asked me why I didn't mention this earlier, I stated in response that I had not had access to these vehicles. I will not 100% say that Ogden towing was responsible for the theft but I will say that these items were not secured in their yard. This might sound slight to some but these valuables are complete loss to me since they were never seen by insurance. I do have pictures and these items were stolen because they were hidden out of sight. I am not happy and I will take this issue up with the owner and update Revdex.com.
