A few days ago (May 29th or May 30th) I received a call from the business owner informing me that the address published in our business directory was incorrect. Once I saw the error I apologized and let her know that we would correct it for our next publication and that we would correct our online...

I also explained to the business owner the process we use to collect information for non-advertisers (see below) and that I would also investigate the problem to find the source of the incorrect address. Once I was able to determine the root of the problem I called the business owner to inform them of the findings. As an independent business directory publisher we rely on the local phone utility companies to provide our company with name, address & phone number for non-advertisers. As in this case, since this business is no longer a customer, we purchased the listing information from the local utility company and was published identical to what is in the current local utility directory (see attached documents). As a result of relying on a third party, we only guarantee the listing accuracy of our current customers. Thanks, [redacted] Sales Manager
