Ogren's Auction

Review: This company entered into a contract with us for an auction in Nov 2013. The staff was extremely friendly, and did a good job of organization and preparation for auction. However as soon as auction was over we were given various excuses for delaying the payment of monies owed us. These included lost paperwork, delay in completing online purchases, and needing to finish more recent auctions first. Approximately two months post auction we were given payment of about one fourth owed us, with promise to pay total within next month or so. Having spent a week developing a rapport we were willing to allow this, however excuses continued and it was another year before a small amount of money was given. For the next year texts and phone calls were exchanged, with no results. That was over two years ago and contact has halted, with a recent certified letter resulting in no answer. The various excuses were nothing short of fraud - the use of our money for personal use. While it is our fault for allowing this time frame to become so great without resolution, it is apparent there can be no expectation of payment from this business of monies owed us. I recommend no one use this business in any way, either entering into business, or purchasing from them.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate help in resolving this issue if possible. I am still owed over $8,000 and that does not include any interest for the length of time it has been owed. The owner admitted to using money as well for personal medical bills, and while I care about the health of a person, I don't think it very ethical to use my money for that. We have tried various times to get money owed us and was told he would have to file bankruptcy if not allowed time.
