The website allowed me to order any quantity I want without any default that the minimum order is 100, and, without purchasing an ecosystemThe only part that changed was the shipping charge as the quantity increased. I have no need of such a large quantityI was given an ecosystem two years ago from the Marubashi family as a birthday gift containing five opae ulaI wanted to add to my ecosystem as I can accommodate many more but for me, is a perfect quantity. I have had tremendous success with my ecosystemI knew nothing of opae ula until I received the gift, but I went to work immediately researching their origins and habitat requirementsI too take issue with unscrupulous sellers who, through their lack of care or responsibility, condemn thousands of opae ula to a quick, unnecessary death. I take issue with the company in their reply regarding what appears to be a screening process as to who should be allowed to own any opae ula. Any one can purchase an ecosystem ready to go and stocked with shrimp; but what happens weeks or months later? Does the company require photographic proof that the ecosystem they sold to a consumer is alive and thriving? I think not. I also take issue with the company who, in their attached email, use a legitimate consumer complaint as an advertising opportunity. We responded and was awaiting her response, that we never received till now.  As we stated, it is not our policy to sell <100 of the SHRIMPS (OPAE‘ULA) unless it is purchased with one of our [redacted] or (special offer for this customer) verification that they are experienced with the care of these [redacted].  Also, for additional validation of our policy, it is clearly indicated on our website: [redacted] when placing an order.
We never exhibited any intention to cheat or mislead anyone, but our Mission is to assure the longevity and care needed to sustain the adoption of these [redacted] from Hawaii, are met.  They are very Special and Limited in supply and inexperienced Adopters and [redacted] experimenters only ends/results with their unneccesary demise.
If this customer can convince us that she has successful expereince with these [redacted], then we will be happy to send them to her, but as we stated - without any experence; she either orders the remaining 95 shrimps (MOQ), order one of our [redacted], or accept a Full Refund.
