realized after other issues with other recent Travels have been experienced lately is in No way Caused by OHANA Health or there Employees.
It seems that the Issue is with Logistic Care which to my understanding is located on the East Coast and that just might be the #1 Problem. The distant between East Coast and Hawaii and the time difer. It seems at this Point OHANA Health has Assisted My Family member [redacted] and that perhaps this needs to brought to the attention of our Lawmakers.
JUST A FYI ON MY FOLLOW UP WITH TRAVEL. OHANA ACCOMENDATED AND SUBMITTED TO LOGISTIC FOR MY TRAVEL FOR MAJOR SURGERY ON JULY 2, 2014. TO TRY TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT UPON DISCHARGE ON JULY 4 2014 TO GET OUR MEALS FROM [redacted] CLINIC AND HOSPITAL AND COULD NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH RIDE ASSISTANCE AT [redacted] SO I ENDED UP WALKING OVER 2 MILES TO AND FROM TO GET DINNER THAT EVENING FOR MY SISTER. ON JULY 5, 2014 I WAS ABLE TO REACH LOGISTIC RIDE ASSIST AND A RIDE DID TAKE ME TO GET BREAKFAST AT [redacted] AND ENDED UP LEAVING ME THERE AT THE [redacted] HOSPITAL AND CLINIC. UPON TRYING TO CALL RIDE ASSIST AGAIN I WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR AND NEVER GOT THRU. I WALKED TWICW FROM THE [redacted] HOTEL IN WAIKIKI TO [redacted] HOSPITAL AND CLINIC ON [redacted] ST AND [redacted] AVE. UPON ARRIVAL TOHONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FROM HILO HAWAII WE WERE NOT ABLE TO REACH THE RIDE ASSIST AND ENDED UP HAVING TO RENT A VEHICLE THE 1ST 3 DAYS IN HONOLULU AND PAID OUT OF POCKET $289.00
GOING THROUGH THIS PROCESS I REALIZE WHERE ERROR LIES. WE NEED TO HAVE A LOGISTIC OFFICE HERE TO WORK ALONG SIDE OHANA HEALTH ([redacted]).

WE WILL WAIT FOR A REPLY FROM THIS COMPANY BY JULY 21, 2014. AS FOR THE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THIS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN RESOLVED. JUST AWAITNG COMPANYS AKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COMPLAINT AND ISSUES.
