After missing a scheduled weekly pickup (the second one missed in my less than six months as a customer), it was very difficult to get in contact with anyone to resolve the mistake (phone number listed online was no longer in service, no response to my email) After finally tracking down a representative from the parent company via phone, I was informed that they couldn't drive all the way out for just one bag of laundry so I would have to wait until the next time they were in my area or I could take a discount on my next week's service I expressed concerns about reliability of service and lack of responsiveness when something went wrong I was told by the manager that "if it was him" he would handle it differently, but he was just repeating what the president of the company had told him I then asked to speak to the president of the company (who I was told made the pick-ups in my area the day I was missed), but the manager refused to pass along my message and assured me the president would not take my call I then asked to have my service cancelled and was directed back to an email account where I previously sent a message that went unanswered The call ended with me being verbally berated for making a fuss over a simple mistake

Revdex.com spoke with the business regarding this case. At the time of the customer's contract signing they were made aware of the cancellation terms. In this case those terms were not met to cancel and the contract automatically renewed per the terms of the contract.

However, I did not receive any answer. And my credit card was charged anyways with $398.

In addition, I cannot pay that credit card, because it is a credit card from Argentina and I am not there. There are a lot of problems in that country and it is not possible to fund my credit card account in Argentina from the US.

And my credit rating has been affected by that.

So I asked to remove that charge. They did not do it.

In addition, they did not reply my emails.

I wanted to cancel the service but I did not received any answer. They replied one month later, telling me that at that time it was too late to cancel the service.

The Ohana terms of service state "CUSTOMER AGREES TO PROVIDE OHANA A MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS NOTICE OF THEIR INTENTION TO CANCEL WEEKLY SERVICE" which, as it is evident in the e-mail, I did.

In addition, they tell you that by using their services you will save a lot of time. That is a lye. I spent more time trying to contact them and discussing administrative issues that the time I would have spend doing the laundry by myself.

This company is a scam. Be careful.Desired Settlement: Even though I provided a notice of my intention to cancel the service 40 days in advance, they charged in December $398 on my credit card for the February - May service period, a period in which I will not use their services.

I want a $398 refund + interests.

And they should not be allowed to continue doing business here. They are a scam. I am preventing other students from using their services.
