To whom it may concern, I am writing from Ohana Pacific Auto Group in regards to a complaint made by customer
*** *** ***The customer brought in his car on April 7, to get an estimate on repairing damages from an automobile accident. The front part of his entire car was severely damaged - his front bumper, front lights, and the entire hood was damagedHe asked us to repair the hood and do a front line up for his car and we quoted him at $and at the time he did not bring up anything about wanting to use his car insurance. We told him that if we were going fix the hood and do a front line up we would order the hood for him, however we would need a deposit of $500. We specifically told the customer that the hood is NON-REFUNDABLE for $- once we order the hood, it would be shipped to us from another company on the U.Smainland and we cannot refund the part for him and he AGREED to us ordering the part. He gave us a $deposit and we order the hood and it came in on April 11, 2016. On that day, he wrote us a note to not begin repairs until his insurance representative came. The insurance adjuster quoted his car as TOTAL LOSS, the damages to his car exceed the current value of his car. He decided not to go with the repairs anymore and asked for a refund of his deposit. We gave him a $check for a refund to the deposit, which the customer withdrew. We tried speaking with the company that we received the hood for to get a refund on behalf of the customer however they were unwilling and we already TOLD the customer from the beginning that we could not refund the hood for him. It was specifically told to the customer that we cannot refund the hood for $Now the customer is seeking for a refund, when it was already told to the customer that we cannot refund the hood and the customer has the hood as well. The customer brought in his car on April 7, 2016 to get an estimate on repairing damages from an automobile accident.  The front part of his entire car was severely damaged - his front bumper, front lights, and the entire hood was damaged.
