Prior to March 20th, 2016, our business with Mrand Mrs*** had been nothing but positive to our knowledge
Mrs*** *** began her case bt saying the above-ground pool she purchased had not even lasted her FIVE yearsMrs*** and her
husband originally purchased the pool on the 26th of June, Based off of the information in our database, which contains purchases made by all of our customers, Mrand Mrs*** continued to purchase products and chemicals from us until the 13th of June, We even had a purchase on the 31st of May, for an above ground pump for $If the pool was not working, why would they continue to purchase productsWouldn't the problem have been brought up in the SIX years they continued to buy from us? (08-14)Nevertheless, that is SIX years that everything was running well enough and business between us was seemingly ammicableYET Mrs*** INSISTS that the job was never completed to begin with
Furthermore, if there had been a problem then in the beginning, (especially as large as it is now), we offered a day warranty on labor (on a contract Mr*** *** signed and we have on file and attached)Included on that contract is a statement that says the last deposit on the pool is made when inches of water are in the pool (see attachment 1)Who would pay the final deposit if the pool was not adequately put together? Going along with her story, if it was not right in the first place, we would have dealt with it, no charge, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, assuming it was within the day warranty
We have concluded that Mrs*** problem is due to the owner taking inadequate care of her poolWe have NEVER seen a pool in this bad of shape that was caused by usWe do often see pools looking like this due to wind damage in correlation with the pool not having enough water in itWe have reason to assume that is what happened because of her location in a very windy area(see attachments)
In addition, we have talked to Mr*** *** (23rd of March, 2016) to set up a service ticketMatt explained how much a full check out would cost, but *** retorted that he did not want to spend any more money on the pool
To answer Mrs***'s "desired resolution", we will not fix the pool because it is not within warranty anymore, and we do not fix pools for free
We do however propose that Mrs*** talks with her insurance provider and sees if her pool is covered as an insurance claim due to wind damage
Until then, there is simply nothing we can do
*We can provide all documents/ receipts both provided and not provided in this response as well*
