Ohio Automotive Center Reviews (5)

Regarding the consumer's concern and statement, I have researched and have found out the following information along with attaching documents regarding my findings [redacted] and [redacted] purchased a Chevrolet Impala from Ohio Automotive Center on 09/16/along with an Extended Service Contract & Gap Insurance Policy.I have talked with my Service & Parts Personnel, along with my Office Personnel, and none of them recall ever talking to Mr [redacted] I have attached the written document, my Finance Manager, [redacted] , prepared for your information regarding his dealings with Mr [redacted] I have also attached copies of bills we have paid on Mr [redacted] 's behalf that he had done at other places instead of coming to us first!!We have replaced all four of his tires along with an alignment If you will notice on the attachments I have provided, Mr [redacted] knew he was buying an 'As is" vehicle and only bought the "primary" warranty The warranty he purchased apparently does not cover his current issue and he was given this information at purchase We have spent $on repairs for Mr [redacted] 's vehicle that he bought "AS IS" for Goodwill already. The current issue Mr [redacted] states, regarding gas fumes in his vehicle, is something we are not aware of and have not had any messages from him regarding this situation Mr [redacted] was given the opportunity to purchase several different types of extended service coverages and elected to only purchase the primary As you can see from what we have already paid for, we have given Mr [redacted] quite a Goodwill Gesture in the purchase of his vehicle, even though it was purchases "As Is"!! Please let me know if you have any other questions on this matter.Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I ([redacted]) personally called and left a message on ** settles voice mail and actual talk to several different  sales people including Luke the guy that sold me the car and the deal was as for as the them fixing the stuff on the car was they agreed to fix it before I bought it then it was total hell dealing with them getting it fixed and as far as the warranty it was not AS IS ** total that we had a 3 year 30000 mile warranty bumper to bumper and as far me taking it to another place the car hasn't been to any other shop other than [redacted] garage which is were ** sent it to and they put two tires on and a wheel bearing and a front alignment then I had to go down there and agree with them cause it did not fix it and the wanted me to buy one tire and them buy one and that wasno the agreement so finally ** is the boss and had to give me the run around and finally bought two tires and I bought the evap solenoid and installed it myself since they would not return my calls  and that was $90 out of my pocket. So that story is a lie.

Mr. [redacted] has never called,  talked to our service department or made an appointment regarding his "vent/solenoid problem" he states he has and also stated in the complaint, "could be a major issue with gas fumes in my car".  As you can see, by the two attachments, Mr [redacted] had an "As Is" warranty that he signed and he only purchased a basic extended service contract to cover his vehicle..  I believe we have gone above and beyond what we agreed to at purchase and I also believe he is responsible for any other issue with his vehicle as per the agreed upon documents I have sent to you. Please do not hesitate to contact me with anything else you need to close this matter.Sincerely, [redacted]Dealer Principal, Controller, Pres.Ky Automotive Center of Grayson, LLC[redacted]
