Dear Revdex.com:I was not anticipating that Ohio Singles would admit that they were not in compliance with our Agreement While I understand (we all do) that they are not going to find anyone that is a 100% match with my preferences, I was anticipating differences of the nature: food preferences, hobbies, favorite types of movies, favorite sportsI don't believe it is reasonable that they use their discretion and go outside my height and age preferences when making selections. Ohio Singles charges a lot for their services It is not unreasonable for their clients to expect a level of service and satisfaction on par with the cost of their serviceIf they were charging their clients the same amount as the on-line matching services, I would not have submitted my complaint You will see from this quote from their response, that they acknowledge they did choose a referral ('Suzie') that was outside of my stated height and age preference range."In these Regulations, there is an important paragraph titled, “Referrals”It is explained that we are matching our clients with those who are likely most mutually compatible and we use our best judgment when providing referralsWe try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking forWe explain to our clients that we use their preferences as a guideline for matching, but not all criteria will match 100% of the stated preferencesIf we find a match for someone, but they are year older or inches shorter, we will still present the match to the client, as we want to give them every possible opportunity to find someone special."While I realize that they have invested some effort in finding referrals for me, I believe that at the very least, a partial reimbersement is reasonable.This response from Ohio Singles is not a reasonable resolution to my complaint

As we previously explained, [redacted] purchased a trial program of 3 matches. We matched him with 5 women (we previously sent a list of these 5 women in our previous letter) and “bonused back” a couple matches. We continued searching on [redacted]’s behalf at no additional charge to him. However, [redacted] has now received his 3 purchased matches. Also, as we stated prior, [redacted] signed an agreement which contains a cancellation policy. This policy states that the Client must cancel in writing within their 3-day right to rescind. Due to the fact that [redacted] signed an agreement with this policy and has received his purchased matches, [redacted] is not eligible for a refund at this time.  Thank you again for your time in this matter.Regards,Ohio Singles

This site has membership with different price ranges depending on how many clients you would like.
I signed up for 5 which was $2500, although I read from the few reviews that there membership for 5 was $1000
I answered a questionnaire that was no more than what you fill out on an online dating site. I had to sign up right there and then with the assuredness that I would have success easily after probably meeting 2 clients.
Then the gentleman interviewing me takes out his cell phone and takes a picture I was unprepared for
Your questionnaire and picture is sent to your Matchmaker who is not even in your state. The matchmaker only knows you by what the received from the office that only handles the membership sign up. You know the first name of your Matchmaker and have been told that they are more than qualified. You really don't know them from Adam. They are also very hard to get a hold of. They say that the members don't want to be contacted because they don't want family and friends to know they are doing this. I asked to just touch base with me about every 2 weeks as I wanted touch base.That request was never honored and it would be weeks before I heard from them,and usually it was me calling them. There also were no success stories to read about because they said the couple's wanted to remain anonymous
I have had 4 dates. All the men had issues and hang ups. I dare say they had personality disorders. My 5th date was the best and I say that sarcastically. He was separated for 10 years and had no intention of filing for divorce anytime soon. His wife was even coming back to stay in their home whenever her younger boyfriend went on a drunken binge
and would stay for weeks at a time. When her boyfriend was sober they would all go to family events and play cards
cards together. So much for the wonderfully background check. The board is now reviewing this matter. Who the he'll is the board. I an so disappointed and very Leary of the honesty of this site. I still owe over $400 but I would like to have the money I have invested reimbursed as I feel very strongly this is not a legitimate business
together. My matchmaker apologized she had no idea, but they are supposed to do detailed background checks. My last match has been sent to the board for review a d to see
together. My matchmaker apologized and said she had no idea. So much for the wonderful background check they do
on their clients. Since it was my last match that they would resubmit it to the board because of what had happened and I probably would be able to meet another client.Who the he'll is the board

he was a great guy when he was sober.

her first match on7/15 and provided her feedback on 7/19. We were actively searching for a new match and tried to findthe most mutually compatible gentleman for [redacted]. We came across a few men who looked likepotentials, but then our matchmakers decided that they might not be the best fit for [redacted].Therefore, we moved on with our search.We have seasoned matchmakers who have been responsible for helping various people find long-termrelationships. They are very particular with their match search, as we will ONLY match our clients withthose who are compatible, according to the client’s profile information. We will not match our clientswith just anyone, because we focus on helping our clients find the RIGHT types of singles. This is whatseparates us from your average dating service. Therefore, sometimes it can take time to find compatiblereferrals.Upon joining our services, [redacted] was provided (and agreed in her contract that she reviewed) ourRegulations. We asked [redacted] on 9/14 to please contact us back, so we could discuss her e-mail/concerns.We have not heard from [redacted] and now we have received this complaint.[redacted] signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees to contact us directly if she hasany concerns regarding her program. She agrees to talk with someone in Client Services. If she is unableto reach a resolution with our Client Services staff, she then agrees to speak with a senior member ofour Client Resolution team. [redacted] agrees to all the above prior to contacting any third partyagency (we have included a copy of this signed form).[redacted] signed an agreement which contains a cancellation policy. This policy states that the Clientmust cancel in writing within their 3-day right to rescind. We are in receipt of Mr. [redacted]’s complaint and will address his claims.We have been working very hard on behalf of Mr. [redacted] since he became a client with us. Please note that Mr. [redacted] has been matched with women who all showed to be most...

mutually compatible with him, according to their profile information and the compatibility indicators in their profile.Mr. [redacted] has received 4 matches thus far. Each woman was compatible and met his preferences. Only one woman we presented was 1 year older than him and 2 inches shorter than his minimum preference. We would like to mention that we explain to our clients various important details when they become a client in our program. We provide our clients with a Regulations pamphlet. In these Regulations, there is an important paragraph titled, “Referrals”. It is explained that we are matching our clients with those who are likely most mutually compatible and we use our best judgment when providing referrals. We try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for. We explain to our clients that we use their preferences as a guideline for matching, but not all criteria will match 100% of the stated preferences. If we find a match for someone, but they are 1 year older or 2 inches shorter, we will still present the match to the client, as we want to give them every possible opportunity to find someone special. Sometimes we think we may have an idea of our ideal match, but those feelings can change if we meet someone who has other characteristics we find appealing. Especially if a couple is attracted to one another and finds various commonalities (and they are compatible), the relationship can definitely work. We have been responsible for helping MANY individuals find a companion and we want to assist Mr. [redacted] as well.
At the completion of each client’s program, we conduct a managerial review. This is when management sits down, discusses the client’s experience and determines if any matches should be “bonused back”, depending on the situation. This means the client will receive additional matches at no additional charge. If Mr. [redacted] reached the end of his program and still has not found someone special, we will discuss his program and possibly provide additional referrals. We always try to do the right thing. We especially want success for all of our clients.
In addition, Mr. [redacted] signed an agreement which contains a cancellation policy. This policy states that the Client must cancel in writing within their 3-day right to rescind. Mr. [redacted] is not eligible for a refund at this time. Mr. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states that he agrees to meet all of his purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet his expectations of our program. He also agrees to discuss any concerns he may have directly with our staff. Mr. [redacted] sent e-mails recently requesting to cancel. We called him to discuss his e-mails. He said he no longer wants to pursue this and wants his money back. We explained and remided him that this is a process and that the most recent match we found for him fit very well with his preferences and vice versa. He said “no”, he just wants his money back. We reminded him that he signed a non-refundable agreement and we would still like to work with him. He said “no” and ended the call.
We would very much like to continue working with Mr. [redacted]. Our only goal is for him to be successful in our program.

[redacted],These people at [redacted] are flat out lying to you.They matched me with 2 women,both of which I complained to them personally( [redacted] and [redacted]) that these women were either over weight or filthy in their personal hygene.The third match called [redacted] and told them not to have me call her.I was told by [redacted],that I would be compensated for 2 of the 3 matches.This company has breeched it's contract and I would like a refund on a pro rated basis for 2 matches not fulfilled.I have met someone and their service is no longer required.Thankyou,[redacted] [redacted]

Yes, I have talk to [redacted] on the phone, this bad deal contract, each conversationthey try to put blame on me. I want a full refund, $2500.00 they had given me a bogus lead and fall back on clause saying I had to meet [redacted] in person, she is'nt a client with them,so they have been decietful to me. I don't trust anything they say.

The customer service is very poor. I was left in a foyer for 45 minutes before Nicole came to get me. My first introduction was to an individual who advised me that he no longer wanted to use their services because of his poor experience. I requested a refund and they have refused so I will continue to pay for a service that I have discontinued. I would NEVER recommend Ohio Singles to ANYONE!

As we mentioned, we provided Mr. [redacted] with a Regulations pamphlet which explains everything our clients can expect during their program. Our services have been as described and everything was right on schedule with Mr. [redacted]’s program.
Again, the agreement which Mr. [redacted] signed states that the client must cancel within their 3-day right of rescission in order to be eligible for a refund. He also agrees to meet all of his purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet his expectations of our program. Regulations and various paperwork are supplied in an attempt to give our clients realistic expectations regarding our program. We have been providing our services to Mr. [redacted] and we would like to continue to do so. We hope Mr. [redacted] has a change of heart and understands we are only here to help him.Regards,
