Ohio State Waterproofing

Ohio State Waterproofing did a good job overall, and so far after 4 years, I have had no problems. But there are some misconceptions that should be brought out. 1. Don't believe the pictures they show of a basement before and after. In their advertising and all pictures you see, your after basement looks perfectly normal with clean walls and a clean floor. But in actuality, you end up with a plastic white panel perimeter at floor level all the way around your basement. Which looks far from normal. Anyone looking at it can see that the basement has been waterproofed. 2. Lifetime Warranty. Here again it is not what is seems at first. It costs you $50 a year to keep the warranty enforced. In other words, they are not really giving you a Lifetime Warranty. You are actually paying an annual insurance premium against any possible problems. Very much like the U.S. Post Office, and UPS. You pay them big bucks to do the job, then you must pay again to insure that they did their job properly. It is a rip-off, but you have no choice if you want to deal with them.
