It is correct that [redacted] enrolled [redacted] in the August Morning Class for Welding to begin August 18, 2014. Unfortunately Ohio Technical College had to move that class start to afternoons, and we contacted [redacted] to see if that would be okay with him.
[redacted] indicated...
that beginning his training in the afternoon class would not be and issue, and we then sent him transfer papers to complete.
Although we never received the papers completed, we also never received a request to cancel his enrollment, or to issue a refund.
It appears there was some lack of communication on this one, and although the student is not technically eligible for a refund, as a gesture of goodwill on our part his enrollment was cancelled today, and a refund was issued to [redacted], check #[redacted]. Hopefully he will be able to re-enroll for a future date in the Welding Program so he can get the education he needs to be able to pursue a fulfilling career in his field of choice.
