I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.. The only time we have used a credit card with them has been for getting oilThe times we had our burner cleaned has been payed by checkThere for the should have asked and told us there was a fee and how we would like to pay, considering the payment for thr cleanings has been with checks onlyIf we were told we were getting a fee we would have written them a check or if they had mailed us a bill we would have sent them a checkis outragous for a man to come check that out water leak had nothing to do with his cleaningThere was absolutely no need for a 2nd man to shut up after my husband sayd he was all set and he can goThey did it cleary for the moneyWe have kids and my husband is out of work due to recovering from a surgery so our bank is pretty low hense the reason the check for the oil burner cleaning was my inlaws they paid to have it cleaned for uswe would have never approved a charge on our account that left us in negative the next morningI would not be this upset if they had told us there fee or gave us a heads up theybwere charging our accountThe only reason they had my card info was because the last time I purchased oilOilmans dishonesty just lost them customers, of those customers were long time customers. They absolutely did not tell us there was a chargeThey came out to fix their problemOr in their case check to make sure it was not their problemWhich 100% wasI also never said fernace because we do not have one we have a boiler.the leak started after the butner cleaningWhich is very funny because last year our heat stopped working after he cleanes it and he came back out to fix it and if I remeber corrected they did not charge usThey charged us because they are caught in a lieThe first guy could have left after minutes when he was rude and sying its mot his fault my husband told him to leave then he called the other guyWe did not sign anything or authorize any payment and was not aware of their fee.

I would be more than happy to address the complaint filed by this customer First and foremost, the report is and inaccurateThe customer’s mother scheduled an annual cleaning for her son, the cleaning was performed on 02/02/@ 11amAt the time of the service our tech performed
his 10-point cleaningNot one of those steps include touching, disturbing or using the relief valveThe customer then called Tuesday 02/06/@ 10:10pm (4, almost days later) to report “THE FURNACE IS LEAKING AND CAUSING THE BASEMENT TO FLOOD”The service manager called the customer to clarify the call so that he could address it properly and immediately the customer started trying to relate the call to a service that was performed days priorHe stated adamantly that the technician used the relief valveThe service manager, knowing that the relief valve has nothing to do with the cleaning, denied that the relief valve was touchedHe then explained that due to the time of the call there is a 2-hrminimum at $an hour which will be pre-authorized(not a charge, an authorization ONLY) That policy has been in place for yearsHe agreed that he still wanted the tech to come address the leakThe service manager called the tech who performed the annual and asked him to meet him there, they wanted to make sure all the involved parties were present so that there is no confusionThat is when the customer started saying the believed that the tech touched the relief valve but that he did not see it happen (in the initial complaint she states “last year my husband saw the service tech use the relief valve to rent a bucket as we are assuming he did it again”)He was very upset because he wanted to relate one thing to the other and we see that a lot when a customer does not want to assume financial responsibility for the service being performedOnce the technicians were present they declined the serviceThe did ask the technicians to leave and our techs kindly offered to return the next morning and they refused that as wellOn 02/08/we received a call from the mother, she called to warn us that her son just called her and was screaming at her over this incident and that he was on his way down to the office and she was worried about how he was going to actHe did show up, he was visibly upset but was able to explain his side without it becoming loud or combativeWe assumed it was all set, but I guess not If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us Oilman, Inc***

As was stated in the initial complaint this was all based on an assumption from the customer, Pre-Authorizations have been done on EVERY order ever received from this customer, and we have records going back to 2016 to prove this. I did not provide those documents because they contain customer information and we were advised by Revdex.com to not include and identifying information. Please check your records- as I have been able to pull every single one and it proves our policy ALWAYS applies. We do not dispatch techs free of cost.
