I've have been shorted on my oil delivery. I've been using OK Petroleum for years and never thought about checking behind them after a delivery... I on a regular order between 100 and 150 gallon of oil and tepidly I don't have to reorder for 30 to 45 days give or take...on January [redacted] I ordered 200 gallons of oil and on February [redacted] I was empty....I was furious I called and their excuse was it was very cold last week? So I call another oil company and ordered 200 gallon and looked at the gage on the tank and the float was higher then it's ever been. How long has this been going on?
Review: Apparently, the corporation that runs the Gas Station at [redacted], had an issue with ledging and accounting debit and credit transactions inside their storefront. I was charged, possibly twice, for more than 100 dollars in charges that stem back to January [redacted]. Though there seems to be no illegality to the negligence of those charges, it is still a dubious and shady practice that no one thought to tell customers about the issue,
Each month when I made one of those fifteen purchases that suddenly showed up on my statement 3 months later, I had the money to make them there and then. Taking that lump sum from me in one day is tantamount to financial rape, and is not an equivocal exchange.Desired Settlement: I think the business has a duty to customers to tell them of payment issues when they arise instead of letting it go for almost three months and then hitting multiple people with sudden, egregious debits to make up for not taking their payment immediately.
