I want to thank you for your business & we hope we can resolve this issue I was surprised when I learned of your complaint to the Revdex.com as I was under the impression that this issue was resolved when we spoke on July 23rd, & offered to return to your home & remove the new dual run capacitor we had installed earlier that day and refund the $feeOf course only after you had made arrangements to have the part replaced by the person that told you the part should only be $20.00, we would not want to leave you without air on a degree day This offer still standsI would also like to address your statement regarding the benefits of our Preventive Maintenance Plan (which does include a 15% parts & labor discount on repairs as well as a free service call if your system breaks down) I have attached a copy of the Maintenance Agreement for your review However, you chose to do the air conditioner clean & check (see attached invoice for $89.00) instead of the annual Preventive Maintenance Plan for $ As is the case with any year old piece of machinery, parts will fail with time, but as you can see on the air conditioner check list (attached), the capacitor was within operating parameters at the time of the inspectionI was sad to see the way you twisted the story I told you about my car breaking down on a highway far from home leaving me and my young family strandedApparently I was not clear when I shared this story, so I will again The alternator on my car failed & I was fortunate to find a mobile service on a Sunday that came to our rescueAlthough the repair fee was over $(knowing I could purchase a alternator for under $at any auto parts store), I was grateful for his prompt service that got my family back on the road I did not feel “ripped off”, I knew I was paying for prompt, professional serviceMy offer still stands to return to your home & remove the part & refund your money Respectfully, [redacted]

VERY VERY UNPERFESSIONAL COMPANY! Let me first start with saying that they charged us $8,for a heating and air systemOver priced! The men they sent out to our home acting like a bunch of middle school girls gossiping about the company and people who worked thereThen left one guy to do the jobThe guy that was left doing the job by him self would not stop talking about his personal life and personal issuesHe left out home a mess and damaged out wallSince the heating and air was installed it worksThe put the Thermostat in the hallway that has the rooms and bathroom a very small inclosed spaceThis area gets very very warm very quickly were as the rest of the house is freezingThe thermostat that is in the middle of the house reads about degrees less then the one they installed and they refuse to move itI called and and spoke with *** the owner about the issues we were having and he make an appointment to come outNeedless to say is I havent herd anything from any one at this companyHe never showed upI have called multiple time and left messages and my calls have never been returned!!! I am very disappointed with this company and the lack of perfessionalism that they have!!! I had to cover all the windows in my home with blankets and put blankets by every door and put a rotating heating in the small living roomWe have only been able to use less than half of our home!!!!! I would not recommend this company to any one!! After spending $8,you would thing the customer service would be just a tad bit better!!!

After reviewing your second complaint I questioned our fee for a dual run capacitor for your compressor unit so I decided to reach out to some of my local competitors to compare pricing I did not check with the man shops or the local handymen as they would not be competitive (they would not have the staff to come to your home on a Sunday when it is approaching degrees) I called well known reputable companies (all with a A+ rating with the Revdex.com) and found the following: Company #told me they could get right out and replace a dual capacitor for $plus a $service/trip fee Company #was $for the dual cap with no trip fee since I already had a diagnostic from another company #was $for the dual cap plus a $service charge, but they could not come out for 2-days #was $for the dual capacitor plus a $service call, but they would not come out unless I purchased a maintenance agreement for $It took some time to do this research, but it was valuable information As business owners we have to rely on business school training and factor in COST OF GOODS, OVERHEAD, SALARIES, FUTURE WARRANTY ON THE PART SOLD etc Any reputable company will operate in this manner or they will not be in business to come to your home on a hot Sunday afternoon when you need them the most Oklahoma Air has been in business for years because we treat our customers fairly and with respect and we will continue to be there for you, but if you are not satisfied, my offer to remove the part and refund the fee will stand for days from today.Respectfully,*** ***

I informed Ms*** that I would not be paying for the repair to her ceiling because the attic decking around the furnace
is not up to current Oklahoma City code which requires a 3/4" thick plywood walkway that is 24" wide extending from the attic opening up to the furnace "service platform"The furnace service platform shall extend 30" out from the furnace in all directions (to give the technician adequate and safe work space to service the appliance)The code states that there cannot be any gaps in the walkway or unsecured boards that could create a unsafe condition
The decking at Ms***'s rental property is not 3/4" thick and the end of one of the walk boards stops in between two ceiling joist creating a unsafe walkway (similar to a "spring board") and this is where my technicians foot went through the sheet rock ceilingWe were very fortunate that the technician was not hurt any more than a minor scrape on his leg
I can forward the actual wording of the IRC and Oklahoma City code regarding the walkway and platform specifications if you can provide me with a means to send it to you
Thank you for the opportunity to tell our version of the event as you can see from our Revdex.com records and rating Oklahoma Air Conditioning is dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction

I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for your offer to come over to my house and remove the capacitor that you sold me for $However, you will not refund $visit fee (which I paid twice) and I would have to call another company, waste my time, pay for the visit, a service fee, as well as for a new capacitorSo, your offer does not work for meIt was not my intent to make you sad, however, I did not twist the story at all, you told me that you were overcharged but still felt grateful for the service providedI find your story inappropriate because the sole purpose of it was to let me know that I was somehow ungrateful for the service that you have provided while overcharging meYour tone was condescending and I really did not appreciate your phone callI have never had to listen to stories from business owners scolding me and telling me to go call another company if I am not happyAgain, I must kindly disagree with your statement "that's how business is done"That is not how business is done and I was overcharged, sir
Sincerely,

I want to thank you for your business & we hope we can resolve this issue.  I was surprised when I learned of your complaint to the Revdex.com as I was under the impression that this issue was resolved when we spoke on July 23rd, 2017 & offered to return to your home & remove the new dual...

run capacitor we had installed earlier that day and refund the $184.00 fee. Of course only after you had made arrangements to have the part replaced by the person that told you the part should only be $20.00, we would not want to leave you without air on a 100 degree day.  This offer still stands. I would also like to address your statement regarding the benefits of our Preventive Maintenance Plan (which does include a 15% parts & labor discount on repairs as well as a free service call if your system breaks down).  I have attached a copy of the Maintenance Agreement for your review.  However, you chose to do the air conditioner clean & check (see attached invoice for $89.00) instead of the annual Preventive Maintenance Plan for $159.00.  As is the case with any 10 year old piece of machinery, parts will fail with time, but as you can see on the air conditioner check list (attached), the capacitor was within normal operating parameters at the time of the inspection. I was sad to see the way you twisted the story I told you about my car breaking down on a highway far from home leaving me and my young family stranded. Apparently I was not clear when I shared this story, so I will again.  The alternator on my car failed & I was fortunate to find a mobile service on a Sunday that came to our rescue. Although the repair fee was over $500.00 (knowing I could purchase a alternator for under $100 at any auto parts store), I was grateful for his prompt service that got my family back on the road.  I did not feel “ripped off”, I knew I was paying for prompt, professional service. My offer still stands to return to your home & remove the part & refund your money.  Respectfully, [redacted]

We are very sorry that Mr. [redacted] is not 100% satisfied with his experience with Oklahoma Air, but only a portion of his written complaint is factual. He is correct in that we arrived at his home on June 5th in Choctaw Oklahoma to find his...

cooling system frozen up due to a low refrigerant situation and informed him that we would need to return the next day when the system was de-thawed. When we arrived the next day the technician added 6 pounds of refrigerant (2.5 hours of labor + 2 hours of drive time since his home is 30+ minutes from our office + 6 pounds of freon for a total invoice of $683) and informed Mr. [redacted] the system would require an extensive leak search to locate and repair the leak which could cost several hundred dollars. Due to the age of the cooling system we recommended replacement of the system over repairing. We gave Mr. [redacted] a proposal of $6800 to replace the system (which included a deduction of $594 for the refrigerant added 6/5/15). The repeated phone calls to our office was Mr. [redacted] asking for a lower price on the installation of a new heating & cooling system, not, as he stated, wanting to schedule the installation. We feel like he was given a very competitive proposal (which he found out when he decided to use a different HVAC company).
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/05) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is clear to me from Oklahoma Air's response to my complaint that one of two things is happening. Either: (1) The company is being deliberately deceptive to cover up a glaring example of poor customer service; or (2) they simply have extremely poor record-keeping and intra-office communication. (It appears to be a little of both.) In the first place, I do not live in Choctaw, and I never once requested a reduced price on the installation of a new system. In fact, I had already signed the work order for the new unit plus labor from Oklahoma Air! Nor did I ever even get a bid from "a different HVAC company." To give them at least some benefit of the doubt, it's possible that my calls were confused or combined with another customer's (but three times???). If not, the company is blatantly lying to cover their tracks. After making my initial complaint, I did contact another A/C repairman, who (1) returned my call the very next day; (2) came and cleaned out a horribly-plugged-up drain pipe that Oklahoma Air had missed; (3) did a pressure check which showed there was only a very small leak (if any); and (4) assured me after checking the unit that it was probably good for another 4-5 years. He did all this in less than an hour and charged me $85. So the "very competitive proposal" of $6800 from Oklahoma Air (which involved waiting for a return call and carrying buckets of water out of my garage every day for 6 weeks) doesn't really seem very competitive after all. It seems from all appearances that Oklahoma Air is a well-established business with many very satisfied customers. But prospective customers certainly need to be aware that this company isn't above losing them in the shuffle, fabricating excuses, or both.

VERY VERY UNPERFESSIONAL COMPANY! Let me first start with saying that they charged us $8,000 for a heating and air system. Over priced! The men they sent out to our home acted like a bunch of middle school girls, gossiping about the company and people who worked there. Then left one guy to do the job. The guy that was left doing the job by himself would not stop talking about his personal life and personal issues. He left our home a mess and damaged our wall. Since the heating and air was installed it has worked some what. They put the Thermostat in the hallway that has the rooms and bathroom a very small inclosed space. This area gets very very warm very quickly were as the rest of the house is freezing. The thermostat that is in the middle of the house reads about 5-7 degrees less then the one they installed and they refuse to move it to the middle of the house. I called and and spoke with [redacted] the owner about the issues we were having and he made an appointment to come out. Needless to say is I havent herd anything from any one at this company. He never showed up. I have called multiple time and left messages and my calls have never been returned!!! I am very disappointed with this company and the lack of perfessionalism that they have!!! I had to cover all the windows in my home with blankets and put blankets by every door and put a rotating heater in the small living room. We have only been able to use less than half of our home!!!!! I would not recommend this company to any one!! After spending $8,000 you would thing the customer service would be just a tad bit better!!!
