Oklahoma Ketamine Center Reviews (%countItem)

I am a 100 percent disabled veteran with severe PTSD and depression. I was going to OK Ketamine Center for treatment that is not covered by the VA. The center did a go fund me for veterans to help cover treatment and the staff told me I was the first vet to receive this treatment via donations. I would then be responsible for paying $450 for boosters every 3 months. I agreed. I had my last booster and had several $100 dollar bills and needed change. The facility didn't keep cash and it was 5 pm so there was no way to get cash owed to me. The nurse just applied it as a credit towards my next visit. When I went to make an appt for my next visit I found they had lost all their staff again. I reached out to my nurse who told me to run as fast I can from there and go elsewhere. I contacted another provider who will do my treatments. She explained this center took advantage of me by over charging and also not dosing me properly. I was getting 50 mg instead of 88mg but being charged the full price. a new doctor has agreed to treat me, but cannot do so without records. I contacted OKC for records and refund and was told " this is an unfair situation, as you got your first treatment paid for". I explained it was not my fault that someone DONATED that money to me, I didn't force them. in fact, I had no idea. I was just told to come in and my treatment was covered. As a disabled vet with limited income, I was very grateful! I am now being punished for having donations and this dr refuses to give me my money.

Oklahoma Ketamine Center Response • Apr 04, 2020

Hello, several false claims with this situation. First the staff donated the money for this patient not just “someone” it was our staff. Second the nurse that quit has told this patient to run only because that nurse did not like the fact that we were getting higher volumes of patients and she was actually having to work. She was fine with working for us when we were just opening and we’re slow. We parted ways and she is now telling anyone she knows that we are terrible. We can’t stop a disgruntled ex employee from slander. This patient gave that nurse 613 dollars for a 450 dollar infusion so the claim that we didn’t have change is false, that same nurse said the patient had extra money on her and was wanting to just put it down for a credit on her next boost. That credit is still in effect and still willing to provide her the boost with the credit. We don’t refund credits with cash as just like most companies. The treatment was successful and dosing was proper for this particular patient (we have her reviews of how well the treatment worked). Claiming to overcharge is false as we charge 600 dollars

for the first infusions (nearest clinic charges 3,000) Ketamine costs a few dollars a vial so overcharging is impossible. We don’t dose based on what the patient wants , we dose based on weight and response. We are more than willing to release medical records and the patient was told this. As far as the credit she is also welcome

to get her last boost with us with that credit applied. Whether she chooses this option is up to her.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

Sincerely,

***

you cannot steal my money and punish me for staff donations a treatment to me . That was NoT my fault. That was their idea and their doing. The way that ive been treated is unfair and I as a patient have a right to fire you as my healthcare team. It is illegal for you to keep my money. Carrie Olsen said that there was zero cash to make change! I did not want to leave a credit but what was I to do? All of this should have been verified through Carrie. If you supposedly had cash, then you need to go after Carrie who apparently lied. This is theft and embezzlement and it’s not okay to steal money from a patient who wishes to discontinue services with you. I should never be bullied over the fact someone chose to donate a service to me! This is poor ethics and business. I just want my refund and records. I have 2 other doctors stating I was underdosed. You are treating me horribly, why would I want to go back and give you my business and my money !! I reject your response. I’d be happy to take this to court
