I was disappointed in our careThe drwrote orders for my dad, under Hospice care for stage lung cancer with a compression fracture in his back, to have pain med every two hoursThey were over an hour late getting it when I complainedIt ended up being two hours lateThe nurse manager told me they could not come every two hours on time to give him medicineI asked that he be discharged or put on a timed pump that he could use himselfWhen they did that, thankfully, the dosage wasn't string enoughThe drtold the nurse he didn't think the dosage should be increasedShe said she could not say whether my dad was hurting or not because she had not been in his room all dayThis is after he told her he was a on the pain scale.(his oncologist told him he under rated his pain usually.) I was beyond frustrated and asked to be dischargedAgggghhhh

They were over an hour late getting it when I complained. It ended up being two hours late. The nurse manager told me they could not come every two hours on time to give him medicine. I asked that he be discharged or put on a timed pump that he could use himself. When they did that, thankfully, the dosage wasn't string enough. The dr. told the nurse he didn't think the dosage should be increased. She said she could not say whether my dad was hurting or not because she had not been in his room all day. This is after he told her he was a 10 on the pain scale.(his oncologist told him he under rated his pain usually.) I was beyond frustrated and asked to be discharged. Agggghhhh....
