I have been a longtime Okuma customerI currently have okuma reel's and two Okuma fishing stand holder'sFor over year's I have never had a problem with Okuma and have had all my reel's except for two for over year'sI was given an Okuma Trio s for a present month agoI took it out on a fishing trip and paid $for the fishing tripI dropped a oz weight and when I went to pull it up the BRAND NEW TRIO was broken out of the box! it was making a loud clicking sound and was jammingThis NEW reel had a yr warrantyIf it was not a gift I would have returned itSo I do not trust this model and requested a NEW different modelI got a different model sent to me and it was refurbishedNOT NEW! I did not buy a refurbished reel I got a new reel and I demand a NEW reel NOT refurbish I have been a loyal customer for over year's! I like the azores they sent me but it is refurbished and NOT NEW, I want a FULL Refund or a NEW reelAll I want is what I paid for a

I purchased an Okuma Ceymar 7" combo fishing rod and reel for my wife and it is by far her favorite inshore fishing rodWe have been avid anglers for over years and this combo outperforms other setups we have used, regardless of priceThanks for producing such a quality combo

In response to the complaint regarding the Trio-55S, Okuma Fishing tackle took every step possible to remedy the situation with the customer. Our first attempt with this customer, we sent an AZORES reel for replacement which is 25% more...

expensive than the original reel purchased. It was explained very clearly by our customer service rep that we would be upgrading his reel with a factory reconditioned AZORES which is a more expensive reel and the customer agreed to the terms. In this case our CS rep sent the reel with a 90-day warranty inside. This was a mistake by our rep and should not be included on reels being used as a warranty replacement such as this case as we need to match the customers original warranty. In order to remedy the situation, Okuma replaced this AZORES with a new model. In both cases, Okuma Fishing Tackle went far beyond our standard warranty policy to take care of this customer.

At first I was not happy, When you buy a new reel and it is broken out of the box. you should get a new one back!. They need to change there policy to "If received broken out of the box a new one will be given. I have been a fan and loyal customer of Okuma for over a decade, this was the only problem I ever had with eight reel's I purchased from them and there fishing stand are excellent I have two blue Okuma rod holder's. They did send me a new reel next day service and that made me very happy, In fact I am going to place another order soon and continue to be a loyal life long fan and customer. I am very happy and would like to with draw my complaint in full. There service was excellent and I would like again to withdraw this complaint and if fact give them a Compliment! Thank You Okuma,
