Review: I purchased a used transmission from them and had it shipped and installed at my local garage. I drove the Jeep to the house and it went out on the way. Not even 30 miles away. It turned out to be a bad unit. So they sent another I had to then pay the labor again to have second one installed. After doing so I picked up the Jeep again and drove it to the house. Yet again the second unit was bad as well. I had spoke with [redacted], the salesman, about getting the company to pay to have the third unit installed. He spoke with his supervisor and the quickly rejected the notion. I spoke with the supervisor and he said there is no way they will ever cover labor if you only purchased a 6 month warranty, even if they continue to ship me bad transmissions. I have been without my jeep for over three months and am having to pay to drive my work truck tok the house, just so I have a way to and from work.Desired Settlement: I would like to not have to pay the labor to have the transmission replaced again.I have received two bad units from them and would like not to have to continue paying to have bad parts replaced over and over.

Response:

I have attached a copy of the invoice where [redacted] purchased a used Jeep transmission.Mr. [redacted] was offered a labor warranty for an additional cost but declined and went with a SilverWarranty that covers the part for 6 months. We have replaced this part at no cost to customer per Silver Warranty guidelines.Since he did not purchase a Platinum Warranty we are not liable for labor costs[redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They did replace the transmission three times. I also kept paying to have the transmission re-installed every time. My complaint is that after three times of paying to have this done they would ship a transmission that works. But they did not even want to talk to me about helping out on the cost of the labor. He said We will not ever pay labor no matter how many times we have to send you a transmission. This seams like a ploy to get me to pay for the highest rated warranty they offer. It doesn't seam to me that they want to take care of what they are responsible for?

Review: had my vehicle towed to old dominion salvage because they were going to purchase my car because it was inoperable. I still needed to remove items from my car so it sat in their possession until I could locate the title to vehicle. which I could not find so I had to got to DMV to obtain a copy. once I got the title, my wife took it to them. once she arrived my wife went to retrieve items from the vehicle which include a speaker box with an amp and a car jack they were not there. the estimated value for items are $350.00. the glove compartment was open and items were thrown about. the car was locked they had the keys. at first no one new the policy and they had to call us back two days later. they say they are not responsible for items left in vehicle. it was on their property so it is their responsibility.
