Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Old Dominion is attempting cloud this issue with irrelevant details about this issue While they did communicate with us during the repair process, these communications do not change the facts of this disagreement and unsatisfactory service.Here are the very simple facts:Immediately after receiving the vehicle from Old Dominion, after being in their position for over months (not 1/months), the vehicle was having electrical problems The vehicle was then taken to the dealership for inspection and was found to have sustained extensive electrical damage as the result of Old Dominions negligence Prior to leaving the vehicle in Old Dominions possession on Sept 3, 2015, the vehicle did not have any electrical problems and was in fact just a few months oldIt is quite possible and a matter of simple deduction that the car was damaged while in Old Dominions possession because they had the vehicle the entire time and the car was damaged immediately after I picked it upMy insurance company is covering part of the total monetary loss I sustained in this incident, not all of it This is very standard practice with any type of vehicle damage in the State of Oregon Moreover, my insurance company may not be willing to pursue re-imbursement for damages, but I amThe insurance company doesn't feel that the damage amount warrants their further investigation, but they are instead providing me with good service by paying for part of the monetary loss I sustained The insurance adjuster stated that he cannot say who is at fault because he did not investigate the incident beyond viewing the actual damage. The dealer was not held at fault because it has been established that the damage did not occur at the dealership, but did in fact occur while at the Old Dominion property I paid the deductible for the original repair as requested when the car was picked up from Old Dominion, as is standard practice in any repair process It was after this deductible was paid, that Old Dominion decided they were owed additional monies However, I am refusing to pay them additional monies in light of the extensive damages that incurred by them.I was holding off on taking further legal action against Old Dominion in the hope that they would finally own up to their obvious liability here However, it is apparent that they would rather burden their customers with their mistakes It is apparent that I need to have the attorney proceed as he had originally discussed with me.
