I met on Saturday with *** from A Affordable Roofing Supply and he explained the procedure
they will do in order to fix the leaking roof, and also took pictures of the damaged ceiling in the kitchen
In ***'s response to the complaint, there is acceptance to do the roof repair by applying the ice and water shield, but there is no mention on repairing the kitchen ceiling to the state of being before the water damage
In order to accept the proposal, I will need the agreement showing the repair and painting of the kitchen ceiling

Not accepting it since the company is stating that the damage to the kitchen ceiling was not caused by their "roof work"They suggested to report the damage to my homeowner insurance
Since I have high deductible, that is not an option for me, since the cost of the job will be much lower than the deductible, what means that I will end up paying for it
As I mentioned previously, this is the third time the company is coming out the fix the same problemI will have to wait another year or two to see if the same problem will occur again
I do not expect the company to "try to help", I just want them to fix it for good
I have to mention that before the roof replacement, I have never had any leaks nor any other problemsI replaced the roof just as a prevention since was old and shingles started to deteriorate on the south side of the house
I expect the company to fix the damage to the kitchen ceiling caused by their poor workmanship (patching and painting)and a written extended warranty for the last job performed

nths due to them damaging shingles while installing the first roofThe Village Inspector failed the first install and affordable roofing came back out and removed and
installed a new second roof under protest by they did itI was happy with that
The problem is when installing both new roofs one of their laborers would grab a bundle of shingles from the latter that would hoist the shingles to the roof and place it on his shoulder and would walk it over to where it was needed and from a standing position just drop this to pound bundle of shingles onto my roof deckThis was done over and over again
Pictures and other things on the second floor of my house where falling off the wallsPictures and such were damaged or broken due to this guy doing thisI went outside and yelled at him to stop dropping those onto the roofI had to tell him twice to stop!
After the roof was installed it rained the next dayI noticed the wall and ceiling in and around both of my skylights wetThe rug under the skylight on my stairs was wet
I called Affordable Roofing and spoke with *** and was accused of not wanting to pay my billI had no leaking skylights before the new roof and now afterwards they booth leakI had to pay two have booth skylights replacedSo not only did Affordable Roofing damage the first roof they installed, they damaged booth my skylights by dropping those to 80lbs bundles on my roof not to mention the damage to family pictures and heirlooms damaged from falling off the walls on my second floor of my house
Affordable roofing also installed new gutters over the entrywayThey invoiced to do thisI am not paying this due to the fact that I had to pay an additional that was not expected to skylights they damaged
I am being threatened with collection action nowI am sick and tired of dealing with this backwards roofing companyI also plan on filing a complaint this time also with the Illinois Attorney Generals OfficeI now will get some hand written letter from them that I cant readI am not interested in anything other then them going awayThey have been paid for the new roof in fullAgain gutters for will not be paid due to the much larger amount I had to pay out due to their negligence
destroy the invoice for and I want a written receipt that this is no charge
