Old Dominion Mortgage

Review: I was trying to buy the house I am renting now from [redacted] at [redacted] from (Old Dominion)came to my house and told me I had to give him a down payment for the load. I gave him a check on 3-20-13 for $3750.00 then later he returned back and ask me to get cash. I then gave him the cash for $3750.00, then requested $350.00 more for the house Appraisal which was never done or a copy given to me. Since then I have been trying to get the money back.He gave me a check the first week in December 2013. He post dated it until 12-15-13.

Since then I have called Soverign Bank and there is no funds in the account. I have called him many times and emailed him. He keeps telling me he is waiting on a wire to come in. the check# he gave me is #1023 for $3700.00. HE owes me a total of $4100.00. I also have on the back of the check were the bank wrote no funds on 12-16-13 when I first went to the bank to cash the check.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back of $4100.00 asap. I do not want to do any business with this guy/company and longer. I will work with a diff company to get the mortgage to buy the house were I live.
