Review: I have a Mechanical Breakdown Coverage of my vehicle through this firm. For the 1st time in my many years of having this coverage, I needed to use it to fix the vehicle. This coverage covers all the vehicle's switches, motors, computers, etc., except the seat components, evidently. The driver's seat back is locked all the way down to the back seat, and as the motor keeps trying to raise the seat, it kills the battery, making the car impossible to drive. Despite the car's inoperability, Old Republic stated that this was not covered. I'm paying $1800 for 'Mechanical Breakdown Coverage', except for, you know, when the car breaks down. I am canceling this policy, and reporting the company, Old Republic Insurance, to the Revdex.com, and to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office.Desired Settlement: As reported

Review: I was involved in an accident on January 28, 2016 where the driver of the other vehicle(who has Old Republic Insurance) rear ended me causing me to hit the back of an 18-wheeler. There was front minor damage prior to the accident, however, the accident caused more damage to the front and my car was no longer drive-able. Adjuster, Amanda D[redacted] was assigned to handle my claim and though the company should provide me with a rental car she informed me that the insurance company would not be able to do so even after I had informed them that it was a necessity, being that I would need to be able to commute back and forth to work. After countless attempts and, obtaining the police report and sending it to them, they still refused to help me get a rental car or pay for any damages done to my car. I've had to go to the hospital several times and the adjuster still wouldn't cooperate. After calling her inquiring about the status of my claim, she was very loud and obnoxious accusing me of lying and ultimately she hung up in my face and refused to take my claim.Desired Settlement: I would like for Old Republic to compensate me for my body injuries and also redirect me to another adjuster or representative who excels in customer service and can help me with my claim.

Review: On February 3rd I picked up a Rental car from [redacted] from [redacted] due to an accident that occurred Jan. 17th around 5:30 pm in [redacted]. On Feb. 18th upon awakening I filed a claim with my insurance company, [redacted] with claim # [redacted] While at a stop sign waiting to merge onto a main road, a man whom is employed by [redacted] rear-ended me and got cited by [redacted] police for driving too closely. The truck he was traveling in was a company truck that was a leased fleet vehicle through [redacted]. The following Wed. Feb. 12th, I get a call from [redacted] at 10 am stating that the other parties insurance company is not paying for my rental car after I already had it for a little over a week. On that date, [redacted] put a hold on my credit card for $600 and it is continuing to rise. I came to find out that they had the wrong information on which insurance company was even involved. I called [redacted] and spoke to my agent [redacted] to get the correct information, which is Old Republic Insurance. She directed me to call a woman named [redacted] that works with [redacted] at [redacted] to tell her the situation and how she needed to contact [redacted] to go about paying for my rental car. [redacted] had already called me prior to this date about a week after my accident asking if I wanted to open a claim with her, when I explained to her I already opened a claim with MY insurance company. When I called [redacted] on Feb. 12th as directed by [redacted], she said that she cannot and will not pay for my rental car because it is not their policy and that she won't pay for the rental because I didn't open a claim with her and she is not involved in the repair process. Who in their right mind would close an open claim with THEIR insurance company to open one with the opposite parties? She told me to save my receipts after paying for the rental myself, send them to her and she will TRY to reimburse me after the fact.Desired Settlement: I expect for my rental car to be paid for in full up front because they hit my car and it is their obligation. The initial time [redacted] called me I was never informed that if I didn't open a claim with her that Old Republic wouldn't be paying for my rental, which makes no sense. I am not at fault for this accident and now I am paying for the rental car out of my own pocket and am completely burdened. I have gotten my Lawyer involved and if this is not solved I plan to escalate this further.
