Clothes were in the washer when there was a water main break in the rear of the buildingWe rewashed all customer's clothes and this customer pointed out a problem with an item and we rewashed it timesShe was not satisfied and asked for $compensation and I offered $but she refused

I think when she called and talked to the attendant on duty to say there was no water the attendant did not believe it because we have not been without hot waterI followed up with the customerI think the customer went over to the sink to wash her hands and there was only cold waterSince we
are a laundry mat and people come in and just run the hot water in the sink which is why we turned off the hot water just to the sink but not to the washersI told the customer she could come pick up her refund and she seemed to understandThank you for your help

I am rejecting this response because: I respectfully decline the offer of $as a settlement for damages incurred and offer less than $is insufficient to compensate for my lossAt the managements insistence the opportunity to rectify the problem by re washing was granted .Unfortunately the items were soiled beyond use due to sewage debris and muddy water that ruined the double load capacity washer that was in use .
