My experience with O'Leary and Sons has been extremely disappointing. Based on other reviews, I expected professionalism and great work. However, what I have encountered has been a complete lack of professionalism. I can't speak to their actual work - they haven't done any. They have terrible communication, though. They apparently failed to come out once, and then, when I called a week later, said that the repairs weren't part of the deck... so they did nothing, and never notified me (rather than a real professional, who would actually call and ask). Then, they promised to be out another day.. and for the second time, they haven't done any work, and haven't communicated at all. Frankly, just a really disappointing experience. If you expect professional management, look elsewhere. Maybe their work is excellent, but I wouldn't know.
Hired the company to install prefab FE finished railing onto an existing deck and stairs. They were willing to perform the work during a mild 2 days in January, 2 man crew worked efficiently for day 1 to erect cedar wood posts, correct structural weakness in stairs, and on 2nd day had the rails attached and complete. Quote was reasonable, materials are sound and finished work meets my expectations for safe and attractive railing system.
Oh my goodness....what a pleasure working with [redacted] and his staff. So pleasant. So professional. High quality work. Reasonable prices. I could go on and on. [redacted]'s crew sanded our 30 year old redwood deck and re-stained it. It looks brand new!!! We had a deadline to meet and they met it!!!! My husband had faithfully maintained the deck over the years and the time had come for it to be sanded and stained again. Convinced him to pay someone to do it this time, which is a difficult task since he is a carpenter and built the deck. The fear is always there that nobody will meet his expectations. Well, no problem in that department!!! He was so pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend O'Leary & Sons. You will not be disappointed.

They do more than decks and we always consider them first for home repairs and maintenance. If there is a question about the work agreement, they put their customer first.

The best contractors in Colorado Springs and surrounding area. They built an outdoor kitchen for us, and it is a work of art. The pergola and BBQ is better than we could have dreamed of, and they made sure that we were happy at every turn. [redacted] and [redacted] will do a superior job for you and there is no question these are the guys you want working for you. These are the best contractors we have ever had in my life time and they did themselves proud. If you need work of any kind done go with them they are A+++++++.
