We tried everything to make this customer happy. We honored a $50 off coupon. Our Operations Manager went out to inspect the...

clean to make sure it was perfect. The customer still complained and has us come back out for free to reclean her house. The toilet seat and blind she is claiming we broke were already broken when we arrived. The customer even told the Op. Mgr. that she needed to replace that blind and that it was the only one she hadn't replaced yet. We have cleaned over 5,000 houses and have never broken a toilet seat. Because I (the owner) was not present during the situation, I offered her $100 for her troubles. She refused. No matter what we did, she wasn't happy. We have replaced picture frames and candle holders that accidentally got dropped and always stand behind our work. We are not in the practice of replacing items at a customer's house that were already broken before we arrived. There are some people you just can't satisfy and some who try to take advantage. This customer said, "Well, you are insured and boned, just turn it into your insurance." Because we are insured, doesn't mean we turn something in that we didn't brake.

Tammy, The reason your maids came back out was that the first time around they missed several areas that I was told would be cleaned. For $315. I would expect the bathroom floor to be clean and all of the sills to have been wiped down. They didn't even wipe off the bathroom countertops. Darlene told me several times over the phone, it was because they were excited it was almost Christmas and they would have some time off of work. In any event, that was not part of the complaint to Revdex.com. The 2 items in question were absolutely not broken when the Maids arrived. I really don't understand how you can say that they were, you weren't even there. I live there. Op Manager (Darlene) is totally wrong about replacing the blinds in our house. She has it backwards. We have only had ONE blind replaced and I did NOT say the broken one needed to be replaced. It does now because it is totally non functional. One of the Maids walked into the room and said to me upon seeing me distraught... "well we have insurance". And you know, it really doesn't matter how many homes you have cleaned, there is always a first time. Looks like you have been in business for 3 years & you're not holding your Maids accountable. At this rate I imagine you will not be in business long. It's just not good customer service to insinuate that your client is "lying". I am a God fearing Christian & I am NOT a liar. And by the way, I WAS happy when the gals came back out & cleaned the areas that they missed. (I kept asking Darlene if I was was expecting too much and she told me "no, these areas should have been cleaned" ) I was so happy and I gave them each a candy bar. :)
