Please note that the windows have been installed for longer than a 'few months'This job was installed on 7/16/ Also, the client called us on March 24th, regarding a leak that was in their home. After reviewing the windows on April 8th, it was agreed that an independent
inspection would occur with by a third party roofing company. During that visit, the roofer determined that the leak was emanating from the roof itself. It is unfortunate for the customer and we remain empathetic; however, we did not cause the leak in the house

We have finally made contact with the customer and we are set for an inspection of the installation tomorrow at 10am with our service manager, Bob D. Thank you,Castle Windows

PLease note that this complaint had referred to the New York State Attorney Generals office and we have been directed to have ALL communication go through them. The client is well aware of this

The windows are years old and still under warranty. Getting replacement parts for such a window is not always a quick process.Items have to be sourced. We are calling the client now to set them up for an appointment

ON FEBRUARY 11,CASTLE WINDOWS SENT THEIR MANAGER, PETER FROM THE CEDAR GROVE, NJ LOCATION TO FINALIZE THE ISSUE WITH THE WRONG WINDOW GRIDS FOR THE LIVING ROOM. WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!! PETER INSTALLED THE CORRECT WINDOW AND VERY HAPPY TO REPORT THAT ALL THE WINDOWS NOW WORK PROPERLY, ALL DAMAGED FRAMEWORK HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND THE WINDOWS LOOK BEAUTIFULTHE SALES MANAGEMENT (ROBERT M*** AND BRIAN C***) DID FOLLOW UP THAT SAME DAY AND APOLOGIZED FOR ALL THE INCONVENIENCES. WE HAVE BEEN RE-ASSURED BY SALES MANAGEMENT THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE IF WE SHOULD NEED ANYTHING ELSE IN THE FUTURE. A HAPPY ENDING TO A ROUGH START... *** *** *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:this installation was not as contracted as a one piece install,  Castle sent their employee to measure and verify the installation prior to fabricating the custom door,  what they made did not fit to no fault of the home owner. This coupled with a gap a half inch left under the door for over a month caused the home owner added expenses in heating cost as well as controlling bug infestation. Home owner stands by his request to have the pieced together installation removed and replaced to have door installed to as contracted one piece configuration or refund of $3,245.00 contracted price.

THIS JOB IS NOT COMPLETE WITH CASTLE WINDOWS.  THE CORRECT WINDOW HAS BEEN ORDERED AND THE COMPANY CALLED ON FEBRUARY 2, 2017 AND SET UP APPOINTMENT FOR INSTALLATION OF THE CORRECT WINDOW ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2017. I WILL SEND AN UPDATE AFTER FEBURARY 11, 2017. THE FINANCIAL ISSUE HAS TO STILL TO BE ADDRESSED AND RESOLVED.  [redacted]

Victor from our office has reached out to the gentleman and they are currently working on a resolution
