material, fabrication and installation are all correct and exactly as stated on the signed contract. The main issue is that [redacted], when advised to go look at the material at the distributor in Rancho Cucamonga, felt that it was far. She decided that going to look at the material was unneccesary. Some customers decide not to look at the material and go by the showroom sample provided to us by Cambria. Olive Mill inspected the material upon delivery and determined it was within the standard deviation.Furthermore, [redacted] knowing there is deviation in the material, chooses to compare her finished countertop to a single picture she saw on the Cambria website. This comparison is not an adequate way to determine the final color and pattern of the material (link to image here - https://www.cambriausa.com/globalassets/photos-and-videos/large/kitchen/summe... are other images found on the same Cambria website:https://www.cambriausa.com/globalassets/photos-and-videos/large/kitchen/... have attached two images taken by Cambria during the warranty claim inspection for better comparison. At Olive Mill, we have made a simple sheet that we supply to all customers receiving an estimate. It lists the various quartz manufacturers, address, phone and contact information. This information sheet was provided to [redacted]. We also explained the nature of this particular sample when she visited our showroom. We made it abundantly clear this material has a unique pattern. We did not withhold information from [redacted] as she claims. She also checked out the sample to take home with here.To summerize, Olive Mill was contracted by [redacted] to fabricate and install a kitchen countertop with Summerhill by Cambria. Prior to the fabrication, Olive Mill advised [redacted] to go to the distributor to look at material because the sample Olive Mill had in its showroom would not adequately portray the appearance of the actual material. However, [redacted] chose not to. Therefore, Olive Mill went ahead with the fabrication and install. [redacted] was on-site at the time of the install, saw the material, and told the installers that it was darker than expected but permitted the installers to continue to finish the installation. Subsequently, [redacted] called Olive Mill to complain that the material was the wrong color. Olive Mill then emailed [redacted] the shipping details, showing that the correct material was in fact ordered and used for your kitchen. On May 19, 2017, [redacted] filed a warranty claim with Cambria but the claim was denied by Cambria on May 30, 2017 due to the disclaimer on the material sample and the fact that the color of the material was within the standard variation. Therefore, at this time, in order to avoid further action, Olive Mill hereby demands that [redacted] immediately remit payment in the amount of $4,730.00.Hope that better addresses the issue.Thank you for the opportunity to file a response,
