The Policy of the Arizona City Sanitary District is that once a property is disconnected from the sewer all charges against the property have to be paid before sewer service will be restoredThe Sanitary District does not specify whether the seller or the buyer has to pay the fees, just that they
have to be paid before reconnectionMr*** purchased the property in July and brought a load of furniture down thenHe saw the notice that the house was disconnected, but did not contact the Sanitary District or the Title Company at the timeHe did not contact anyone about it until August 27, when he moved inMr*** was in the office of the Sanitary District on 8/27/and was told what was owed on the property and that it would have to be paid before sewer service would be reconnectedThe Office personnel told him not to run any water until the sewer was reconnected to protect him from flooding his houseMr*** was also advised to contact his Title CompanyHe stated that he did not use a Title Company even though the transaction went through a local Title Company that deals with the Sanitary District all the timeMr*** paid what was due and was told that the service would be reconnected the next morning as he came to the office after the hours that our plant personnel go homeThe sewer service was reconnected at 6:a.mon 8/28/We do not know when he filed the complaint with the Revdex.com, but for him to state that they are still having to use the restroom at the store and that they will not know when the service will be usable is a little hard to believeAs far as the carpet having cat urine and dander the Sanitary District cannot address that issueAlso, in subsequent phone calls from Mr*** he was told that the Office personnel have no authority to refund him his money or cut him a dealHe was told that the only way to have the charges changed or reduced would be to ask to be on an agenda and present his case to the Board of Directors, which he never didThe Board of Directors are the only ones that have the authority to remove any charges that are on an accountSincerely For The Arizona City Sanitary District
