On the last month of my lease, I asked for an extension to pay on 02/13/I was told I had until the 16th to pay or I will be sent to courtOn 02/10/I received a summon for court to evict meI called the office to remind them that they gave me until 02/13/The office did not honor the deadline of 02/13/They said whoever I spoke to did not note it in their systemTheir poor professionalism costed me $extra dollarsTHANK YOU FOR YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE OLIVE TREE APARTMENTS!

I can not say enough good things about Gustafson Electric, Inc This past Sunday, my electricity went out on a hot and humid day I contacted Gustafson's and asked if they could come out on Sunday to help me out He didn't think twice and said yes The customer service was impeccable and I had my electricity back on within an hour I can not thank him enough for taking time away from his family to help me out
If you need an electrician who is kind, helpful and reasonable priced, then Gustafson Electric is for you

My mother, who is in her 50's moved into Olive Tree Apartments in July She qualified, and was really excited to move inDuring my mother's move in day (with her ***), me, her, my husband, and my children went with her to collect her keys and sign her final contractThere was a man that worked there in the front officeWhile my mother and husband were away, he handed my his business card with his cell phone number on the back
My husband went up tp him afterward, kindly, and gave him his card back and asked him to not do thatThe Office manager then approached us, who we later found out was dating this leasing gentleman, and told my mother to leave the property and accused my husband of threatening him
Me and my mother told the office manager that we overheard the exchange, and no one was threatenedThey told me if my husband didn't leave the property immediately, they would evict my mother (minutes after signing the lease)I was weeks pregnant, and my mother is years oldBut we did as we were told, and my husband left, and we unloaded my mother's entire *** alone
My mother thought everything was done after that, but less than one week later, they sent my mother an eviction letter and based it on the grounds of my mother having my husband threaten the office staff (WHICH NEVER HAPPENED)I called and spoke to the office manager, and she accused me of being dramatic and lying about this cell phone numberWhen I asked if she had a conflict of interest with the office gentleman, the office manager hung up the phone on me!
It is now months later, and they have sent my mom to collections for $700+ dollars, after living in their apartment for, maybe, daysShe never got her deposit back
BEWARE! I am also contacting the ***This place has something going on behind the scenes, and they obviously have no morals for my mother's poor conditionShe promised my husband would never come back on the property, and they evicted her anywayTerrible Terrible management

After review of the Revdex.com Complaint and careful consideration we have decided that the debt against *** *** standsMs*** claims that she endured horrible living conditions which are indeed she was treated for a pest problem on occasions which both times this was resolvedMs
*** was offered an early termination not for the reasons she statesShe was offers a early termination to avoid an Immediate Eviction being filed against her for an unauthorized occupant that was threatening and harassing towards management and staffAs the lease directs we had the right to immediately evict Ms*** under these terms but asked that she leave peacefully to avoid a court hearing and judgement being placed against herShe complied and moved out of the premisesThe debt incurred is for cleaning, carpet charges and paint is well documented and I have provided a few photos to substantiate these charges

IncompetencyI never received that follow up call in the days followingI ended up leaving to stay in Scottsdale with friends who have working air conditioningWednesday morning around am I received a call that the air conditioning would be fixed thursdayI then stayed in Scottsdale yet another dayI called thursday morning around 10:am to check the status of my air conditioning in order to avoid driving all the way without knowledgeWas told it was getting fixed that day but would take a couple hoursI left Scottsdale and returned to my apartment around 2:pm to no air conditioning stillI then went to the office again asking for a managerWas told she was in a meetingAsked to schedule an appointment and could see the disdain in her body language for having to give me her timeI scheduled an appointment for pm monday, and leftI returned to my apartment and left for work by 3:pmWhen I returned back from work, it was finally fixedThe meeting I had on monday was pointless, as I was told I could not break my lease without a feeApologies don't fix thisThe way I was treated was unacceptable and I no longer want to live in such an unprofessional environmentI understand that man-made items always have flaws and always breakThe problem I have with this business is the way they handled my issue as if it was of no importance to themThis complex wasted my time, gas money, and caused me emotional stress and damage in the process of brushing off my air conditioning like it was not important, which is also illegalAnd now they will not let me out of my lease without paying an $1,break feeWhich I refuse to payDo NOT live here

This apartment complex (The Olive Tree) is plan scandalous. First they tried to charge me double pet rent and water. Got that taken off, then they charged me 56.00 because I didn't renew my lease. Then I was charged 125.00 because I went month to month. Asked them as of today exactly how much I owed because I was going to get a money order they stated 845.13. Went and got the money order and they wouldn't accept it stating I owed 37.00 more because I didn't pay the rent by 11 am and I was having to pay for the five day notice they served me with, well today is only the second and I never received a 5 day notice. I specifically went in the office to ask how much rent was owed, because last month I went to their website to see how much I was being charged so I could go get a money order. Got the money order for the amount stated on the website. They told me the website hadn't updated and I had to pay 20.00 more in late fees.
I had no ceiling in the bathroom from January until April, and the repair has still not been completed. One month ago my apartment was flooded because maintenance left the water on in the apartment upstairs.
The office staff, and management I have dealt with are dishonest, and I have nothing good to say about them since the new management has taken over.

This apartment complex has the worst maintenance and office staff that I have ever dealt with I lived there for a year and they would never fix anything and then they tried to charge me for repairs when I took photos of all the damage that was already done before I even moved in I highly recommend never renting here.

The premise did have cockroaches, and rats I was afraid that my new born baby that I just had six weeks ago would be born in uninhabitial inhumane living conditions.  I Authorize my Aunt, [redacted] to be able to speak on my behalf with Olive Tree Collection Agency and Olive Tree regarding these unfair collection action.  I DO NOT ACCEPT THE BUSINESS RESPONSE BECAUSE THE INFORMATION THE BUSINESS PROVIDED IS INCORRECT.  FIRST AND FOREMOST, I NEED A LETTER FROM OLIVE TREE SPECIFICALLY STATING THE FACT THAT I WAS NOT EVICTED BECAUSE ON MY CREDIT REPORT WHEN I WENT TO RENT TWO WEEKS AGO, THE OWNER OF A RESIDENT WOULD NOT RENT TO ME BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT I WAS EVICTED.  I AM REQUESTING THAT OLIVE TREE PLEASE WRITE ME A LETTER SPECIFICALLY STATING THE FACT THAT I WAS NOT EVICTED PLEASE.  PLEASE I AUTHORIZE MY AUNT, HER NAME IS [redacted] TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER WITH OLIVE TREE AND OLIVE TREE COLLECTIONS AGENCY, I AM TRULLY SEEKING AMCIABLE FAIR SOLUTION TO THIS SERIOUS MATTER.  HOPEFULLY OLIVE TREE WILL BE WILLING TO WORK THINGS OUT WITH MY AUNT, [redacted], I AM EXTREMELY MEDICALLY ILL CURRENTLY THATS WHY I NEED OLIVE TREE TO WORK IT OUT WITH MY AUNT, [redacted].  PLEASE SEND THE LETTER.  AT THIS POINT I AM NOT SATISIFED WITH THE BUSINESS RESPONSE.

July, 2013. I am 56 years old; a grown person who raised 3 children and who is a previous homeowner - so this isn't my first rodeo. I'm a responsible person. My personal first-hand experience with this "business" is that they are out to get your money through deceit and lies. I'm writing this review now because the ghost of this apartment management company has come to haunt me 19 months after attempting to live there. The manager at that time, July 2013, intentionally lied to me - after a simply communication misunderstanding that was resolved, the manager stated I could rent an apt there, lease signed, gave me the key. The deposit and rent money was paid. I moved in on July 2nd and then received an eviction notice on July 5th with 24 hours to vacate. So, they got my deposit and first month's rent money, then thought they could evict me by the manager claiming she "changed her mind." Really? Three days after moving in, uhaul unloaded and returned, unpacking, 4th of July holiday, she sends the maintenance man to give the eviction notice on the national holiday! It was obvious to me that she was simply attempting to rob me; but I also have my suspicions that she decided she didn't want a Native American living there. Beware of discrimination.
Since I had paid my first month's rent using a credit card, I quickly filed a dispute with my credit card company in July 2013. I did not attempt to recover my deposit money, because I decided ok, it was duly theirs. Never heard one word from them for over a year and half; now, I have recently received a notice from a collection agency who has tracked me down in another state!?! I lived there 72 hours, and was wrongfully evicted because the manager "changed her mind." Obviously, I will be disputing this at all three credit bureaus and filing a complaint with the [redacted]. WARNING WARNING do NOT live at any complex managed by this company, they are out to swindle you. Just think about it...why would you hand over the key to a tenant, lease signed, uhaul unloaded, etc., then 72 hours later evict them? I did NOTHING wrong! DO NOT LIVE THERE.

Lived here for 2 years safety was a huge problem heard a couple gun shots smelled weed constantly in my 2 years. When I moved out gave them a 30 day notice cleaned the apartment went to give the keys back to a leasing agent they told us they weren't able to do a final walk through at they time little did I know that they did it when I wasn't around received a letter from them saying that pans where missing from the stove top counters where damaged the interior door was damaged will not refer anyone to them ever......

I was without working air conditioning for three days in over 100 degree weather. That falls under a hazardous condition that could end in detrimental situations regarding my health.

On Monday, August 8 at 11 pm I returned to my unit at 98 degrees. I called maintenance, which then arrived around 12:30 am. The man identified the issue, and told me it could be fixed the following day. Was given one portable unit to chill one room only. That was up and running by 1 am. I woke up at 3:30 am to it turned off and broken, with my apartment back up to 95 degrees. I called back and asked for someone else to come out to address the issue. I was told I would receive a visit within the hour. Waited an hour and a half, called back, told it would take another hour. Come 7 am, no one had arrived and I slept with my doors open to create a cross draft. Come 10 am, my apartment was 92 degrees and I went down to the property office onsite. This is now Tuesday, the 9th and I have been without air conditioning for nearly 12 hours. I asked to speak with a manager and was told she was unavailable. Emmily, the secretary, was relaying messages directly from her boss to me, while her boss sat in the office. I was told that the manager was in a meeting, and that no air conditioning was "normal" - this is now 10:30 am. Was also told that the maintenance manager, Mike, was sending someone up to my apartment immediately. He showed up at 11:30 am, and was not aware of the issue. This means the prior maintenance worker I had dealt with the night before had not communicated the problem to his boss. Therefore, Mike had to, again, identify the problem. This took another hour. He then brought me another portable unit and told me the air conditioning would be fixed the next day (wednesday). Portable unit still only chills one room, so I was confined to my bedroom and could not cook or use the rest of my unit. Upon calling the property management company, Westwood Residential, I told them my side of the story and Sabrina did some investigation on Olive Tree's end as well. When she called me back, I was told I would receive a follow up call within a few days and that "it seems that your air conditioning was not broken for as long as I thought". Excuse me?! Incompetency. I never received that follow up call in the days following. I ended up leaving to stay in Scottsdale with friends who have working air conditioning. Wednesday morning around 10 am I received a call that the air conditioning would be fixed thursday. I then stayed in Scottsdale yet another day. I called thursday morning around 10:30 am to check the status of my air conditioning in order to avoid driving all the way without knowledge. Was told it was getting fixed that day but would take a couple hours. I left Scottsdale and returned to my apartment around 2:45 pm to no air conditioning still. I then went to the office again asking for a manager. Was told she was in a meeting. Asked to schedule an appointment and could see the disdain in her body language for having to give me her time. I scheduled an appointment for 1 pm monday, and left. I returned to my apartment and left for work by 3:40 pm. When I returned back from work, it was finally fixed. The meeting I had on monday was pointless, as I was told I could not break my lease without a fee. Apologies don't fix this. The way I was treated was unacceptable and I no longer want to live in such an unprofessional environment. I understand that man-made items always have flaws and always break. The problem I have with this business is the way they handled my issue as if it was of no importance to them. This complex wasted my time, gas money, and caused me emotional stress and damage in the process of brushing off my air conditioning like it was not important, which is also illegal. And now they will not let me out of my lease without paying an $1,800 break fee. Which I refuse to pay. Do NOT live here.

Upon review of the second compliant, the claims that are being made are in no way a reflection of the charges being imposed against Ms [redacted]. The $344.76 charge is the dispute which has been reflected in photographic and documented in the former residents file.  The charge imposed upon move out is completely valid and in compliance with the Lease agreement signed. All other claims made against Olive Tree are unfounded as I have explained in my previous correspondence.
