This letter is in response to the claim that was filed against my store.
The customer purchased a top and brought it back to the store wanting to get full refund for the purchase price. Apparently the top did not fit when she tried it on at her home instead of in dressing room at the...

store. 
She was told by the sales clerk that the store policy is to issue full credit not refund money. This is displayed in signage at store and also stamped very clearly on receipt. Customer claimed store no longer carried her size? The store has always carried the same sizes... and at times receives extra larges in some items. These are pre-packaged and ordered in packs not specialty ordered. She seemed to have been confused. 
Customer came back a few weeks later and spoke with me.."the owner" and still demanded her money back...  I explained my store policy and very kindly offered to help her find other items that she could use her store credit on...such as Jewelry, accessories, and even tried to offer to show her tops that would fit her size. She did not accept my help and marched out of store leaving her receipt and store credit on counter. I was not able to come to a conclusion with her because she left so abruptly.. even though I tried to help her as much as possible. I have been in business for many years and have always had a great relationship with my customers. I try to accommodate and respect their best interests as best I can. 
I would like to refund this customer the purchase price of the top she was so unhappy about. 
I find it unfortunate that she left the store with the feeling that she was treated poorly. A small business does the best it can to survive and keep it's doors open:)

Review: I purchased a woman's blouse about a month ago (the store has my receipt so I don't have the exact date). It was too small and the store no longer carries my size, extra large.
